I had the Leaf Guard system installed both on my house and shop. It turns out they had a class action suite the allegations claiming not to have to climb on you roof to clean you gutters. It was the next winter I found out Yes they keep you gutters clean inside. But the screen on top plugs up with leaves and debris. So now you have to clean the Leaf Guard off. Or the water runs on Ver the top and down the face of your building. Unfortunately I didn't see the class action suite or I would have asked to have the system removed and my total purchase price refunded.

Leafguard does not have a mesh screen on top of the gutter. You must be confusing Leafguard with LeafFilter or another mesh filter guard. Please contact the company that installed your mesh gutter topper to discuss how they can service your gutters.

Paid considerably more than all of the competition - based on the "maintenance free, lifetime warranty- no clog policy". I did not want the "screen" that others provide and felt the " helmet top cap" had merit. The helmet cap seems to be a good thing, but they put about two feet of screen at the locations where the gables intersect. Hince, ****** collects and reduces their system to being no better than the lesser priced competition. I am a senior citizen, and unable to climb a ladder, and rely on Leaf Guard to, at least once / year, come out to clean the areas of ****** that has collected. This process of getting them out for the work, is painful and Ardus, at best. Easily, it is the second or third request that finally gets you on a waiting list for the work to be done. In hindsight, I should have gone with the "lesser priced system"- where I at least knew what I was getting.

We purchased their gutters and after only two years and icicle formation from last winter the gutters bowed in the middle. This caused the water to come over the center of the gutter instead of the downspout. Now when it rains, even a light rain, the water pours directly over the gutter and into the foundation of the house. I have sent three emails to their production manager about the issue and pictures showing him the issue. He called one time just to tell me he will call me back with date he would come over and assess. That was back in March 2025, he never called me back to set up a date to even look at the gutters. Almost a month and half later he texted me back asking me to specifically point out the problem. As if though there was no problem and I am just making it up! We would not recommend purchasing Gutter Guard! We paid over $ ********* for gutters that failed only after two years. They did not honor their lifetime guarantee of their product. At this point in time I don't even want them back on my property. It is a complete waste of money.

It is over priced and targeted my elderly parents with early signs of dementia.

I had leaf out for a syair lift quote. I am 75, just recovering from a heart attack. I have post polio syndrome. Aggregated by covid 19. My existing saitrlift is about 22 years old, and is going out I wanted a stairlift quote, and my initial cost 22 years ago was 2500$. Today, ***** representative quoted me 9300 $, and I said I'll wait till tomorrow to decide. He started high pressure sales, and quoted me 2800 less if I sign NOW. This 75 year old senior was not born yesterday. Then the leaf website said my stairlift should cost between, 3000 to 5000, 1650 less than his quote. He tried to high-pressure, scam me. Stay away from Leaf at all costs.

This is not a Leafguard customer. You must be mistaking us with LeafHome. Please contact them to resolve your issues. We do not manufacture or install stair lifts.

Have said to come out and fix a problem with downspouts. They tell you a date then don't show up. This is like a merry go round You call them, and they say they will re-schedule and don't show up at that. Very disturbing especially for the cost of the gutters, you call and they never return the call.

Literally had to argue for a week with the company *** to get a crew out for a ***air. And they were late, missed the actual day of arrival. A whole day! When they did finally show up they couldn't even do the ***air. I was polite but frustrated and asked for a series of quotes on ***air vs ***lacement. Weeks go by with no quote. "Manager" is the most incompetent and lazy individual I have ever tried to get service from. Walk into any ********* and the random 15yr olds who get stoned in freezer will have better customer relations and work ethic! Multiple emails and calls unanswered. My suspicion is the name brand was sold to lesser ***utable companies and all the work is now farmed to uncredited weak minded sub-contractors. Do NOT do business with this bizarre, ****, so called company.

I just had a LeafGuard sales person walk on to my property, look around and walk away. Not knowing who he was or why he was on my property I walked out to ask him. He said he was with LeafGuard, at which point I told him we didn't need their services, since we had leaf guards already. He said we did, citing water stains, then accused me of not knowing what I had or needed. For the record, we have just had a new roof installed and had the leaf guards replaced. I told him I didn't not appreciated him coming onto my property without identifying himself, at which point he walked to the sidewalk and then continued to bait me as I told him to leave. Since I'm quite aware of my house and what it does, and doesn't need, I found this highly immature and unprofessional. I had to give a star rating, otherwise I would have left it blank.

Aside from being overpriced, the quality of workmanship was awful. One gutter was installed with a twist at the end which was pulling away from my house. It only took 1 call to have a crew fix it. After another winter of excessive ice cicles, i called to get help rom *****. He continued to blame my house for heat loss as the problem as well as my failure to read section 4 explaining ice cicles. Something that the salesman should have mentioned. The issue was that ice was hanging off of the end of the gutter and water constantly dripping in the downspout. The icejam forced some of my fascia to pop off. ***** refused to reattach the fascia as techs dont carry nails nor hammers. He did send out a crew to look at the gutter. They found a hump in the middle of the section forcing water to overflow back from the end. As part of having a new roof installed, this contractor actually showed me pictures of the gutters had been installed with 3 layers of aluminum dripedge and huge openings allowing bees, birds orjust about anything to get in. After sending the evidence to *****, he blamed previous techs and supervisors for this mess. He took no ownership of the problem as Id have to leave messages for a week before hed call me.He refused to refund my money, or even a portion of, as he pushed the problem to ************** who offered financing. Eventually, he offered to fix the gutter but not my soffit and popped off fascia. I declined his offer, but called back in about an hour to say that I would accept his offer and as of today still havent received a call. Just like the entire problem.***** doing business with company at any expense!! Looking at the most recent reviews, i can see how poorly this company is operating. Im miffed that with all of the negative reviews, their BBB rating isnt poor. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Im screwed for over $3,000, which is what I still owe, as Leaf Guard failed to do the right thing.

Bad install experience that turned into **, install manager and install team coming out to **** the entire job. They took a piece of my rotten fascia board they were supposed to remove the first time back to teach a class on bad boards. Additionally they never removed the original fascia covers that were up. Recently I received a letter in the mail I had to sign for stating that I was past thirty days for the remainder of my bill. That was not correct since it took two weeks to get them to get back out and do the job right and another week to get the FINAL pieces of my job delivered, so I was still two weeks away from being anywhere near past due. The letter threatened lawsuit if I didn't pay and had incorrect dollar amounts. I never received updated line item invoice that I requested or copy of the recorded sales meeting. Getting lied to by the install crew as to what was done day of and extreme lack of communication by the management team was a slap in the face and nothing was ever done to rectify the issues that were going. My roof had to be inspected where installers said I had decking issues and turns out that the only issue I had was they installed their material incorrectly and damaged my decking and shingles. Having to pay for these issues and repairs was worth nothing to them and reflected in their invoice as such. As a disabled veteran on limited income the extra expenses I had accumulated were an inconvenience at the bare minimum let alone taxing on me and my budget.

The only contact from the ** was when I spoke to him Friday April 18th and paid $4500 towards my bill. I have received a letter in the mail stating that I was past due paying and that it was the second such letter sent to me(which it was actually the first). On top of that I've received nothing else from *** ****(the **). You guys have my email address as well so if there was a desire to resolve things there is always that option for trying to reach me, unless of course you want to say that you've tried that as well.
