    Business to be provided: Cosmetic treatment called Intense Pulse Light (IPL) to remove hyperpigmentation caused by sun damage

    Nature of dispute: Owner (Katya D started mentioning politics during session and was irate because of an Instagram violation she committed, causing her account to be deleted. Katya used foul language and vulgar gestures to get her point across. In order to de-escalate the situation, I suggested that she no longer talk about politics with her customers. After she seemed calmer, she supposedly completed the cosmetic treatment. However, I noticed and questioned Katya that the procedure did not feel like the previous (2) ones. Before leaving I, again, shared my concerns that the procedure was not effective, to which Katya, in a NASTY manner said I needed to wait until the following day. My face NEVER showed ANY results after I left or the days that followed.
    I left her a voicemail on the same day of the procedure explaining my concern and was greeted with an insulting, vulgar text message. The following day Sunday 3/31 and then Monday 4/1, showed absolutely NO RESULTS. As suggested by my bank, I tried to resolve this dispute regarding getting refunded my $400 with her first, so I texted her photos to show her proof the effects of procedure never took place. Katya again sent more demeaning, insulting, threatening text messages.
    I would like to report her lack of professionalism and question her credentials as the only license number I was able to find on her was her real estate number. I am also requesting for payment to be refunded, so we do not have to further escalate to legal litigations.
    She is extremely rude and insulting even on her own Google page reviews. Calling clients "stupid", "c*nts" and many more. Yelp reviews are appalling and give a clear depiction of this woman's unprofessionalism, as so do my text messages from her.
