I had an appointment with the **** Saturday 4/15/23 @ 8 AM in ******, ********** for a diagnostic on my muffler. The muffler was damaged beyond repair and I purchased a new muffler that was installed the same day. (Total cost over $1,200) When I got in my car to leave, I noticed the engine light was on (the light was not on when I brought it in for servicing. I brought the car back immediately and a diagnostic was done. I was told that my 02 sensors needed to be replaced. If this was the case, they should have changed the sensors or at least called to tell me it needed to be replaced. How could the mechanics overlook a check engine light? I was told it would cost $500 for the parts but not the labor in order to resolve it. I've looked up the part pricing and they are $42 - $100. I am very disappointed. This was my first and last visit. Now I am at risk for failing my inspection in August if I don't fork over another $500. This feels like a scam or unqualified workers servicing cars in that location.

*** **** *********** did a replaced my front and rear disc pads and rotors. I heard noises and called to make an appointment in January because the noises continued. I explained that I I heard the noises when braking and during braking while slowing down from approx 35 mph. *** January 19th the mechanic at *** re- checked the car and said they couldnt find anything wrong. I took their word for it. Later the noise appeared and I took it to a different auto shop. I asked them to just evaluate the noise while driving and braking. They wrote me a report that said the front rotors were defective. Im my husbands caretaker and I need a safe and dependable care. They suggested I take it back to *** shop. I did not trust the *** shop to correct the problem, it was a NEW brake job. Im replacing the new defective rotors and I want *** to compensate me for that additional cost. After speaking to someone at *** shop today, he suggested that I didnt do enough to point out the noise to the mechanic. I have 70% hearing, and I heard the noise every day.
