    We hired them 3 months ago to finish our basement and to add an addition onto our 1st floor. For the most part every thing went smooth. The most difficult part was matching the new siding to the rest of the house. But **** was able to get it done. We are renting out our basement. We wanted 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom and a kitchen area. Everything looks great. We got free appliances for the kitchen too. 110K was our budget.

    ******************* , owner of RMS Home Remodeling is a thief and a fraud. Do not hire him, run the other way. He was anxious to get a contract to build an entire house from the ground up. I asked if he had experience, he said yes. I should have asked, "how many houses have you built?" His nswer would have been one. He was very unprofessional almost from the start. Once he hired the architect he failed to show up to every appointment with my township and officials. He required a large down payment $70,000. He also asked for money to buy the cinder blocks for the foundation and an additional payment to buy the lumber. He claimed he was a small business and didn't have the resources to front the money. In total I gave him $300,000 and he dug 2 holes on my property, hit the water table and flooded my property, and caused my neighbor's property to collapse into the hole. He walked away from my project, caused problems with my neighbors and township officials. Turns out he doesn't know his job. He didn't have the permits to build the foundation or frame, just demolition permit. He caused several cease work orders and several fines assessed to me by the township. When my lawyer issued a demand order for the materials purchased (foundation and lumber) he never produced any. He failed to produce any receipts for the materials he said he purchased or contracts with sub-contractors. He walked away with $300,000 in cash and the legal authorities said they can't prosecute him for reasons I can't believe. He is a fraud and a thief. Do not hire him.

    None of the above is true ...we were contracted to knock down a house and rebuild .....her township doesn't approve outside contractors. The permits took 4 months to receive because they kept changing their minds ...The homeowner next door didn't like noise from any activity and would constantly call township and complain even though we were well within our rights to work .***** the owner would ask my guys to do things like move all of her furniture into a pod not once but 3 times and she thought this would be free.....after knocking down her house and digging the foundation it rained continuously causing me and my guys to pump out the hole we dug for foundation meaning a generator had to run 24 hrs a day to get the water out...well her neighbor wasn't having that and did some more complaining...and none of her neighbors would let us use their electricity so we didn't have to run generator because all her neighbors despise her and her family.....I charged her accordingly for work done ***** robbed her of anything and her township is impossible to work in as an outside contractor......
