    On Thursday, August 29, 2024 I accidentally locked myself out of my condo.
    An upstairs neighbor looked up “locksmiths near me” and made the service
    call using his cell phone.

    Two individuals showed up and within 15 minutes, and after several attempts,
    they were able to open the door.

    I was charged $382.52 and was asked if I could pay in cash. I let them know how shocked I was at the cost of this service, but just heard explanations that didn’t make any sense to me. I used my **** card to make the payment and was told I would be receiving a receipt through my email account.

    After 4 days of not receiving a confirmation of services rendered, I called the original contact number (###-###-####) and the number given to me by the serviceman
    (###-###-#### Can Marangoz) and had been unable to reach anyone at either of
    these numbers.

    I went to ** **** the following Monday to get a copy of my **** statement (see
    attachment) in order to find out the name of the locksmith (Rons Car Keys NJ LLC, Elizabeth, NJ) so I could call them. I’ve had no luck locating this business and
    am wondering if this is on the up and up or if they are using subcontractors with no
    oversight of what they are charging the customer.

    "Their BuildZoom score is 0 because we haven’t been able to verify an active license".

    I have filed a complaint with the NJ States Attorney Office earlier this month as well.

    If you would look into this matter, I’d appreciate it.
