  On November 22, 2023, I hired Mario T, of “MT Pest & Mosquito Control” because there were animals running in our walls and ceiling at night. Mario did a quick indoor and outdoor assessment of our property and told me we had “rats” in our home. He required $650 full payment up front with a 4-month warranty. He placed 6 rat traps (black boxes) with bait outside of our home and promised improvement within 4 – 5 days. There was no improvement, and he came back on December 7th. After finding a dead mouse on a trap I had placed in a crawlspace, he admitted that he had misdiagnosed our problem as it was only mice!
  
  Mario never solved the problem during the four-month period. I contacted him (9 dates/text messages) advising him the problem still existed and did not go away. On February 24, 2024, I texted him my concerns because it sounded like they were getting into our bedroom ceiling from the roof, and Mario said, “Mice don’t enter a home from the roof.” Throughout these four months, Mario never put up a ladder to inspect the roof and gutters, which is exactly where they were coming in! (Our new exterminator immediately found their entry points on this first visit). Mario DID NOT resolve the problem, and ignored my last phone call and text message on March 20th when I only asked him to call me back. I never heard back from him again.
  
  I have sent Mario written correspondence both regular and certified mail, but he has not responded. Mario also left behind his 6 black bait boxes on my property, which I later learned required a label with his information (missing) and a notification that the contents were poison. He also left 12 + glue traps he placed in our family room crawlspace on March 12th, advising us he’d be back in two weeks to pick them up (with the dead mice).
