Between January 9th and the 11th, I brought a pair of boots to be repaired. I paid $70 that day for the repair. The owner suggested I get my soles fixed so the next day I brought the other boot back. After two weeks I picked my boots up. I decided to wear them and all I smelled was cat(when you walk in there's a cat on the couch and that's what the establishment smells like). I tried everything to remove that smell and nothing worked. On Feb. 1, 2024, I took them back and informed of him of that horrible smell and because I didn't want to leave them there he gave me some spray for the interior. I brought that back and explained that the smell is embedded in the fabric of the boot. He said he would shampoo them and because they had to dry I could pick them up the next day. To my dismay, I left them there with a blue bag. On Feb. 2, 2024 I picked them up and they were not only out of the bag, he sprayed the stuff in the interior of the boot. When I asked about my bag he became agitated and proceeded to give me another bag. When I smelled them you can smell the chemicals he used on top of the cat smell. Once again I tried everything to get that smell out and nothing has worked. It's so pungent that I put the boots by my front doo and the entire area smells like cat!! I am filing a complaint with the courts and I want my money for the boots, because they are now destroyed!!
