      They took my relocation deposit of over $400 and stopped all communications since June 28th. *****, the secretary, tried blaming me for their failure to come on *** assignedxdatexto pick up my items.

      Do NOT do business with this moving company! From the beginning I was wary of ******************* and his sales pitch. It was a total nightmare and when everything started going ****************** was nowhere to be found. He avoided his phone, didnt return our calls or voicemails. He just disappeared into the night like the thief that he is. Company does not do onsite visits. They rely on you getting a large moving company in for quotes and then base their pricing, labor and trucks off those other companies. We explained that we had to move on a specific date, due to several factors. .The day before we were set to move, the company they contracted out to, called and said they wouldnt have the semi we were promised until the next day and that they would be there sometime around 2pm Thursday. We told them that was not going to work and that we needed the semi and could not change the dates of our move. So, they ended up bringing two smaller trucks, one that already had someone elses things in it from a different move. Fast forward 13 hours later and almost 11 pm, they didnt have enough space in the two trucks and I was going to be forced to leave about 200 cubic sq ft of stuff behind. Then came the shake downs for the money. The first payment, that was the initial deposit, was taken by credit card, so we thought that was how we would be paying for the entire move. WRONG! They legit held all our belongings, including our clothes and docked the truck and refused to start the move until we paid them through a Zelle wire. This caused a severe delay and as we headed out of state to drive with a child and animal with us in ***, they stayed back for two days, before heading out on the road. It forced us to stay three additional nights in a hotel and my husband was forced to cancel his business trip. When they finally arrived, they then demanded 5K in cash to unload. Belongings were damaged and stuff was missing. This is criminal behavior!

      We had a great experience with **** and his crew. They meticulously wrapped our glass-door barrister bookcases, and all of our other furniture. It arrived 650+ miles later in great condition. They were hard-working and attentive. Thank you!

      We paid over $3500 for them to transport ************* across the country only for them to go cold on **. They gave us reassurance that we'd get our stuff by June 7th and that hasn't happened. Sure, there could be a delay, but the lack of communication while eager to take your money is the problem. We have been unable to contact anyone from this business and I now lack faith that I will see my stuff again.

      I moved from Kansas to ********, **. J Gentle Vanlines was the subcontractor through Acme. **** was the team lead and met me in ******. His meticulous care of the wrapping and protection of my furniture was impressive. I moved 4 rooms. Bed, living, bath and kitchen to include a table. He arrived with my belongings 3 days later as contracted and moved it up 3 flights of stairs. NOTE PLEASE: All belongings were moved beautifully and carefully into my new home. I cannot believe the ease and professionalism with which this move was orchestrated. I will only use this company if I find myself moving again, and I highly recommend them. Very professional, expedient and affordable. Thank You J Gentle!*****
