    My complications with Emerson fence started after we got our fence installed. During the install process, little plastic pieces of fence were all over our yard. I'm not sure if this is normal but it took forever to clean up all the tiny plastic fence shreddings. Then, we noticed that there were gaps between a tree and a fence. The gaps were large enough for our 80 lbs dog to get through. When they called the next day to ask if I was satisfied, i expressed my concern with the gaps and they said there should have been some chicken wire installed to fill the gaps, but there had not. I was told someone would be able to come next week. Fast forward a month, where I had been calling consistently to check in on if anyone would actually be coming out to close up the gaps. I was calling nearly every other day and told every time that they would schedule it for a few days, or next week. Basically this dragged on and I had no confidence they would ever fix the gaps. I had already paid for the fence in full. Finally when ***** did show up to close up the gaps, he walked into our yard without any notice, which could have been dangerous had our dog been outside! It was odd to me that he neither called or rang the doorbell to inform us he would be walking in our yard. He fixed the gaps around the tree, then pointed out another large flaw in the installation. The corner of our yard had gaps as well, which we had just covered up with chicken wire and decided wasn't worth our energy to try to get the fence company to fix. But after ***** pointed it out, he said it looked horrible (which it did) and that he would be back to fix it. This took basically another month or me consistently calling to figure out if we were on the schedule, and consistently I was told it would happen in a few days or next week and given the run around again. I don't know if it was because I am a female homeowner so they didn't take me seriously, but I would never recommend Emerson fence to anyone.
