I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Business Debt Adjuster (BDA) and their representative, Jenn P, regarding their misleading and deceptive business practices which have caused me significant financial distress.
In good faith, I engaged with BDA after being assured by Jenn P that they could significantly lower my payments with my lender, Company A, due to their purported excellent relationship with Company A’s legal team. Jenn P repeatedly assured me that this relationship would facilitate a deal that would reduce my weekly payments without any additional cost to me.
Despite these assurances, I encountered a severe breach of trust when Company A placed a lien on my business. This unexpected action persisted for nearly two months, during which I was unaware of the escalating situation. Throughout our initial interactions, Jenn P was responsive and conveyed a strong sense of trustworthiness by emphasizing her and the company’s Christian values. However, once the lien was placed and the situation deteriorated, Jenn P became unresponsive, which is unprofessional and contrary to the assurances made.
The culmination of these events forced me to sign a new agreement with Company A, resulting in a significantly higher debt obligation due to compounded late fees—an outcome that was entirely avoidable had I been properly informed and guided by BDA.
I feel profoundly misled by Jenn P and BDA, whose actions and promises have exacerbated my financial situation instead of alleviating it, as initially promised. This experience has not only affected my financial standing but has also shaken my confidence in businesses that claim to operate on ethical principles.
I am seeking the BBB’s assistance in holding BDA accountable for their deceptive practices and ensuring that such conduct is not repeated with other unsuspecting clients.

These dudes don't quit calling. I have asked so many times to be removed from their list and yet every day I get 1 or 2 calls. Yes, I have MCA debt... but I took that intentionally and am almost done with it. I don't need your services. Even worse is that they left a VM on our main business line saying... "This message is for accounts payable please contact us about an important business matter" ... making it sound like there's an urgent bill due or something. Super shady. Also, I've explored companies like this... all they do is tell you to quit paying your debts with the hope that they can 'negotiate' them for you into smaller payments. So you get to deal with the loan sharks coming after you, your family, your business all the while hoping 'business debt adjusters' can negotiate a settlement for you... and there's no guarantee they can. What happens if they can't? Your business is then ruined. To the reps calling me - I respect the hustle... if you're going to grind that hard why not go sell and dial for a company that actually has a product/service worth selling?

aT 6:02 PM I received a call from **** from this company and which a month ago I received a call from them and I asked them to please remove me from their call list. I understand I am on a UCC list due to my business being listed. I asked **** to remove me and he was talking over me and I hung up. At 6:03 pm he called me again and continued to talk over me as I asked him to please remove me from the list. I have a financial group that assists with my business needs and I do not need these calls all day. They call and clog up my phone lines with potential clients and employees calling in and I do not need or want these calls to come in. I asked that when a business asks to please stop calling it should be respected and they should be professional and move on and stop calling as requested. At some point this isn't a sales tactic it's harassment after being asked to remove phone number from list and stop calling.

We get multiple calls from "****" representing Business Debt Adjusters and have explained to her that we do not want her services and asked her several times to remove our number from her list. She still calls at least 5 times per day tying up our business lines. This is a business and we do not have time for these harassing phone calls. We have reached out to her company to report her abuse with no response and the calls continue. All we want is for the phone calls to stop.
