"I agreed to a $3,000 repair on behalf of the ***** dealership, while their estimate was $5,000. I was referred to this mechanic by a ***** sales representative to lower the cost. My insurance authorized me to use the payout as I see fit. Now, I am asking the mechanic to return my car, but he is demanding the full amount that the insurance paid me. I did not authorize him to replace the wheelsI specifically approved repairs instead of replacements. I also authorized him to install a used headlight from a junkyard to keep costs low and to offset the depreciation of my car.I sent him a link to buy the headlight, which he requested, and he promised to complete the repairs in 10 days. However, he has been holding my car for over a month now. Since my car is used for business, I am losing $500 to $700 per day. I need help to get my car released. He is withholding my vehicle and demanding the full insurance payout. Additionally, he is threatening to sue me for insurance fraud, even though the insurance appraisal did not related to him.i asked insurance this all situtation. insurance confirm. it your money use it what every you want.
