    and receptionist standing by the window, laughing and looking in my direction. I was still determining how to interpret their behavior. Still, later on, I received a notification that my card had been charged $15 for missing the class. When I requested a reversal of the charge and explained what had happened, I was told that it was their policy and that the receptionist had met me outside to avoid any potential confrontation at the front desk.I tried to end my membership at the studio and requested a smooth separation. However, the studio continued to attempt to charge my card $269 multiple times, and even charged a $20 late fee. On top of that, I received harassing and rude emails from the studio manager. Despite my attempts to speak with them about my experience and canceling my membership, I never received a callback. Whenever I tried calling them, the phone was either busy or sent to voicemail. It seems like they intentionally avoided my calls since they have caller ID.I attend every class with a positive attitude and have never acted aggressively. However, some people may have assumed otherwise due to the harmful stereotype of the 'angry black girl'. This assumption is unacceptable and has made me uncomfortable enough to not want to return to this studio.They only care about the money and not the customer and ensuring their voice, comfort and safety matters.
