    Fonse was supposed to tune my jeep’s computer (ECU) better than the first time back in 2022-ish with the first ECU. They had failed to do this after installing a supercharger (this is now the 2nd time i brought it here). They were supposed to properly tune the vehicle’s “computer” to make the vehicle run properly with the addition of the supercharger the first time when my mechanic first brought it to them in 2022. This 2nd time was after that ECU malfunctioned and i had to install a new one just to be able to turn the vehicle on. I told Junior at Fonse that their initial tune did not make for any significant improvements in the performance of the vehicle. In fact, the vehicle kept overheating and i had to replace several other systems because of that (i have a receipt from a mechanic shop it was at in early March 2023 for those systems that malfunctioned as a result of failing to tune the vehicle’s ECU properly). The turnaround time for this 2nd time was supposed to be within the same week. I brought them my jeep 02MAY2023 and put a down payment of $250(i have a digital copy of the receipt which i have attached) . I had to keep calling and emailing them for updates and estimated dates of completion. They have not responded back nor picked up my calls since SEP2023. They kept making excuses for the delay in completion. I contacted multiple consumer affairs lawyers, and filed a grievance with the NJ Dept of Consumer Affairs, and they all give me the same reply that this isn’t something they help resolve. I just want them to complete the job. I would even pay the fair amount left for completion of the job. But i do want them held accountable for keeping my vehicle since may 2023 and not responding back to me in 4 months since SEP 2023. I intend to continue finding legal representation and retain a lawyer for purposes of civil litigation.

    I brought in my *************** May of 2020 to this company. I was taking my car there to be tuned as they came highly recommended by a friend. I even placed a deposit up front of $1,000.00. After I dropped off the car, I could not receive a response from them. I called them multiple times, sent multiple text messages, etc. When I finally did get ahold of someone, they just gave me the run around and made up excuses. I then said that I was coming to get the car as there were no updates and they had my car for over 6 months at this point. I then received a call from the owner and he told me he was embarrassed at how I was being treated with my car and was going to try one more thing before I came to pick it up. He even said he was not going to charge me and offered a refund since he had my car for so long. After that call we then went back to crickets. There was no response from them about my vehicle FOR MONTHS. I finally decided to go and pick it up during business hours in May of 2022. When I went to inspect my car it was in worse condition then when I had dropped it off. The rear tires were dry rotted from sitting in his lot, all the wiring under the dashboard was unplugged, majority of the motor wires were unplugged, there was also significant paint damage to the front of my car. Upon taking my car home we come to find that there are now pieces missing from the car. One being a spare battery in the trunk and the coil pack bolts. I drained the oil in the car and found about 2 gallons of gasoline in the oil which could have ruined the entire engine. When I asked for my money back, ** Senior (owner) said that I was not due a refund. His son, *********, then promised me money. They gave me back $200.00 from my original deposit. With all of the damage caused by ** and his employees, I am now going to spend an upwards of $3,000.00 to get my car back to where it was before I took it to them.
