They are a non-profit monopoly that is actually greedy. Their customer support is solely limited to your membership and not actually with barcodes. They license numbers and their portal is horrible. My designer couldnt use the files so I had to pay a surcharge for him to get barcodes. I even noticed they dont actually link to BBB site, but have an image, which is totally not legit. *************************************** Look at footer. I contacted a few of the solution companies and none got back to me.

Dont use this company for barcodes. they are 1 of 3 licensed by *** for UDI barcodes. they do answer their phone quickly but wont help. I wasnt sure what i needed and they didnt help, but did help themselves to my money. they charged me $250 for 10 barcodes then another $250 for a second 10. when i realized i needed more then 20 they wouldnt cancel my 2 sets of $10 and let me get credit vs. 100 which costs $750. i never used the barcodes. some snarky *************** kid named **** called me and told me they gave me all the necessary info and they are a non profit and need to remain "neutral" and therefore could not credit me $500 and charge me $750. they also never told me there was an annual renewal so since i needed about 35 i would have to buy the 100 anyway and pay $250 + $250 + $750 and then pay 3 annual renewals vs. 1. Amazingly, he seemed VERY happy TO SAY NO FOR A CREDIT AND WAS NOT APOLOGETIC AT ALL. so i left and went to *****.org. one time fee $1,000 FOR AS MANY BARCODES AS YOU NEED AND NO ANNUAL RENEWAL FEE, AND THEYLL ************* UNLIKE GS1. iM SORRY i CALLED GS1 FIRST BUT FIGURED THE GOVERNMENT WOULDNT ALLOW SUCH BEHAVIOR (DUH WHY WOULD I THINK THAT???) as far as i am concerned GS1 should never be used. they are very friendly till they get your money then youll see what shysters they are. licensed by the US Govt so why woudnt they just rip you off? they have a license to steal
