    This tutoring business offers one-on-one LSAT Tutoring which I employed their services back in October-November 2024. Their services charge $147 per hour, which was agreed upon, however I have been overcharged for 5 hours. Originally, they double charged me for my first session, then charged me for an agreed upon complimentary/make-up session, and finally in January - when I was no longer using their services - charged me for another 2 hour session. This brought upon a total $735 extra I am being charged. They immediately refunded the $294 charge from January, but I have continued to go back and forth with them on the remaining $441 which they have agreed I am owed back. I have been in contact with one of their management-level employees who keeps assuring me I will see the refund, but hasn’t transmitted said refund and when I asked for proof he sent me a screenshot of the January refund that was already issued months prior. Additionally, I feel as they weaponized emotional tactics, to which I pleasantly responded to, which I now assume was to further stall resolving the issue of this refund. The company has been stringing me along for more than 6 months so that I am now outside the window to dispute the charge from my credit card account and depend on filing a complain with the BBB to get back the money that was wrongly taken from me. I request a full refund, $1,617, of my entire service with them, given this absolute waste of time spent and emotional distress I have been under trying to fight for my wrongfully taken money over an expanded period of time and the extended manipulation they have put me through to avoid refunding these transactions. To add, their services guarantee an increased LSAT score to which my score resulted lower instead, further granting a full refund. Nonetheless, at the very least I expect the $441 I am rightfully owed that they have stolen from me. Attachments are unable to be attached below but can be sent if contacted.

    Hi BBB team,

    ***** ***** was able to resolve this with us.  We had a personal family death that took us away from work so it took us a little longer but we were able to clear up the confusion about her tutoring schedule and she was refunded the appropriate amount.  We have this all resolved and I called her to confirm that we're all set.  Thank you!
