Our experience with Artic Air began with a service call due to an odor emitting from our AC unit. Following their assessment, we were advised that a new system costing $9000 was necessary. After installation, the unit initially functioned for a few days but then ceased cooling altogether. Upon contacting Artic Air again, they dispatched a technician who attributed the problem to insufficient freon due to improper installation by a colleague. After adding froen, the system still failed to cool our home. Despite numerous attempts—over 10 texts to technician Sam, 7 calls to the main office, conversations with receptionist Lisa ensuring callbacks, and multiple emails and certified letters—Artic Air has been completely unresponsive for over a month and a half. In light of their lack of response, we have scheduled another company to troubleshoot the issue on July 24th costing 200 just to come out to troubleshoot and then whatever additional costs are incurred. . To outline the sequence of events: June 10, 2024: Diagnosis identified a freon leak from the diagonal coil in the air handler. June 14, 2024: Installation of the agreed-upon condenser was completed; however, the air handler was incorrectly ordered. June 17, 2024: Correct air handler installed, and full payment of $9,000 was made. June 27, 2024: Reported inadequate airflow and cooling performance; system unable to reduce temperatures July 2, 2024: Technician Sams visit revealed suboptimal Freon PSI levels (below 100 PSI) in the condenser, well below the required 125-130 PSI.he blamed his colleague. I am tremendously concerned that the system has been running 24/7 with low Freon levels. Research indicates that this is taxing on the system and has an impact on the life span of a system. What can be done about this? July 5, 7, 9, 15, 16, 18, 22, 23 2024: Continued to notify company of issues through text, VM, email and certified letter sent to owner NO RESPONSE.

Repairmen showed up on a Saturday 11/19/22, I had a blockage in the oil line/nozzle, they told me it was the oil pump, which I bled out so I knew it was working. They quoted me $675 for a 5 minute repair (now finding out the new pump would cost approx $100-$150). They decided this was the is*** with no trouble shooting, never cleaned out the pump screen, nothing. For whatever reason, they decided to take my oil pump with them, they had no replacement parts with them, and told me they would be back the next day. Never heard back. I asked for my pump back and was told I'd have to pay $95 if I want it back. They stole my pump and now basically asking for ******. It's below freezing out, on day 2 without heat, and unable to get anyone else in to look at it on a weekend without the pump to troubleshoot the system. Shady repairmen, police report taken, and literally left in the cold. I have never experienced anything like this with furnace repairman, they never returned my oil pump. Update 11/21/22 another police report filed, oil pump was never returned unless I remove my review, which I was not willing to do. Now after I told them I would see them in court, they are harassing me and threatening to make false allegations to my town inspector, health ***** animal control, put a $95 mechanical lien on my house, use 4 lawyers to *** me, spend thousands of dollars, and make me pay for it......all because I wanted my oil pump returned and to no longer do business with them because they were scamming me.Update: 11/23/22 purchased a new pump, plumber came, turns out these guys took the black and brass fittings with them, a quick fix turned out to be a 2 hour job because of the mess these repairman left behind. It turns out the new pump did not fix the problem, because it was never a broken pump is***s as I was told. There was a dirty oil filter, dirty strainer, and a blocked nozzle. They still have my property they stole and I don't believe they are even licensed

Arctic Air PLumbing & HVAC installed a hot water heater in my house and claimed that they had the proper permits to do so. They have not provided and said they will not provide a permit to me. They are now not answering my calls or emails.
