    I hired College Hunks to move about four miles to my new home. I was quoted a price of $4,131.00. Shortly after the movers arrived on moving day I was told that there were too many items to move and that it would take an additional day. Well, I didn't have a choice, since I needed to get out of my home because it was scheduled to close (sell) to new owners later that week. As it turns out, it took them THREE days and they still didn't remove all of the items from my home. The bill on the first day came to $4,957.58.00. Extra costs they said because the move was more work than anticipated. After day two they charged me another $3,358.00, again because it was more work than they thought. Worse yet, when I went back to my old home to check things out there where not just several, but many items that were not moved: TV set, three framed mirrors, numerous artificial plants, etc. Of course, I didn't discover this until after they left. So, in the end, I had to complete the move that they never finished. To make matters worse, the manager of the moving team had the nerve to ask me to tip him and his men. Never in my life have I been asked by somebody to tip them. How rude. This company is classic bait and switch, they give a price to get your business and then rip you off with additional charges after they have your belongings in their possession. Completely unethical and dishonest to the core. The worst company I have ever dealt with.

    I asked College Hunks to quote for moving and junk removal. They were very nice and very quick with the quote. We accepted for both the moving and junk. The moving was quoted for 1 moving truck and 3 men total being $1145 for an estimated 4 hours work. It actually took 7.5 hours. We were charged $2198.50 which is double the quote which I have the issue about. How on earth can an estimation be so far off the ***** They saw what we had to move. They even charged ** for a "junk" item that they should never have bought with them and returned to the same venue as the junk. That was $50. My point here is the estimation was so out of the ball park. I expected to pay a couple of hundred more but double? The same happened with the junk they removed. They showed up with half a truck full of junk which they then had to go back to the warehouse and empty and come back. I have the quote and they must have known that we would use more than one truck. Estimated was $888 = tax. Final was almost $1500. Again we expected to pay a couple of hundred more but this was way more. I did speak with someone who said that they didn't know we had a sofa to move - that was listed first on the quote.
