I’ve had an extremely disappointing experience with Design Stallion. From the beginning, they were more focused on upselling additional services than delivering on the products I originally paid for. Every interaction seemed like another attempt to get more money out of me, yet the quality of their work is completely unacceptable. $2,000 for an initial website and logo that were subpar and far from what was promised. $3,963 for an upsell to the premium package, which included promises of better workers, an educational community section, enhanced copy, and basically everything I was led to believe would elevate the project. $2,500 for hosting services for several years, which is fully refundable per their policy. Despite numerous promises, they failed to meet any reasonable standard. The project has been riddled with constant excuses: first, two developers quit; then my project manager fell ill and ended up in the hospital; after that, my new manager was fired shortly after being assigned to me; and finally, my new project manager had a newborn child that was sick. They assured me they were giving me “the best of the best,” yet her work and communication were subpar, characterized by missed deadlines and a slew of excuses. It feels like the entire company has been trained to deliver the same disappointing script of excuses. They consistently miss meetings, are always late in delivering work, and the quality is unacceptable by anyone’s standards. To make matters worse, when I requested a refund for the unused hosting services, which were clearly marked as refundable in their policy, they flat-out refused. This is unacceptable and feels like a deliberate attempt to take advantage of customers. If you’re considering working with Design Stallion, I strongly urge you to reconsider. This company is untrustworthy, doesn’t honor their own policies, and operates more like a sales machine than a professional service provider. Don’t waste your time or money here.Initial Complaint

We started with Design Stallion in August of 2022. They quoted us for a progressive web application. Promised custom coding in multiple languages done by their in-house experts and programmers. I spoke to *****, who was very friendly and a very good salesman. I spent a lot of time talking to him and asking specific questions, especially are they familiar with nutritional databases. I spoke to the designer ********* who listened and said yes they could do everything we are asking. They quoted 6 months, and I paid $18,000. They moved us to multiple project managers because they kept getting promoted. 5 in total. Each time I had to spend a ton of time re explaining the whole project, re sending all the descriptive emails and photos. They were mostly unprofessional, wouldn't listen. No show for meetings they set up. Little to no communication. They assured me they needed a certain nutritional database, and then they couldn't use it costing me $2500 additional. I had to also scramble to get another database which I did. Each project manager told me something different. Each update there would be a lot of work done on things I never asked for or wanted, and very little work dont on things I needed. The program is about 3/4 done at 18 months. It is very difficult for the user and does not look good. The project manager suddenly decided it is done and yelled at me demanding I sign a form saying I am happy with the work or he refuses to continue. There are no sections finished for me to sign off on. certainly not the whole thing. They have over promised and cannot deliver what they told me. I will only accept a full refund as they have not delivered anything useful. I have hundreds of emails I have sent and them as well. I also have video recording of final project manager yelling at me to sign form, and a video showing the partially finished poorly constructed website he says is finished.Initial Complaint

I utilized their services, first they did very poor job, so I requested to transfer me the website info. so I can have someone else work on it and did pay all in advance. they took me hostage to write a review, actually ***************** was the one who wrote a review for himself. Then I requested to transfer ownership, again they won't do it. I paid for hosting services and some other service, which I am not going to use, so I asked for refund. then they took the website as hostage.Initial Complaint

At the end of 2020 going into 2021, I retained the services of Design Stallion to create a website for me. I chose this company, because they offered a money back guarantee if I wasnt satisfied with the services at any point during the process. After several months into our business dealings, I started to see red flags (slow responses to messages, days/weeks of no contact/follow-up, missed conference calls, unable to produce web layout per my request, etc). After almost a year into the process, the guy that was assigned to develop my website, told me he would have to assign me a new web developer, because he had too many projects. It was at this point, I knew things were headed in the wrong direction; not to mention, the several mock layouts he sent me that were consistently done wrong and not changed even after pointing out the errors. So, I requested to amicably part ways and asked for a full refund as guaranteed. Needless to say, they tried to retract the money back guarantee statement, and are now, non responsive to any of my messages. I paid $600. I just want my money back as guaranteed and move on from this fiasco.
