      I am writing to file a formal complaint against Universal Dental Implant Center, for providing substandard care and allowing an unqualified treatment plan coordinator to act as a dentist, resulting in harm to patients. As well as, non dentists performing dental treatments on patients. I recently visited this facility for dental implant procedures. During my visit, the treatment plan coordinator, ******** ****, presented themselves as if they were a qualified dentist. They provided detailed treatment plans and made decisions about my dental care that should have been made by a licensed dentist. As a result, I experienced severe discomfort and complications from their poor advice and treatment recommendations.The coordinators actions included, but were not limited to:Making clinical decisions outside the scope of their qualifications Offering subpar treatment options that caused significant pain and discomfort Failing to refer me to a licensed dentist or seek a second opinion on treatment when it was clearly needed As a result of these actions, I have suffered unnecessary pain, complications, and unnecessary costs in seeking corrective care from another qualified dental professional. This treatment plan coordinator's actions represent a clear violation of patient care protocols, and I believe they have put other patients at risk as well.I request that the BBB investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action to ensure that Universal Dental Implant Center adheres to proper professional standards and patient care. Additionally, I would appreciate any guidance on how I can further address this issue, including seeking a refund or compensation for the harm caused.

      After thoroughly reading and examining the complaint, there are a few things I would like to address. The first thing I would like to address, is that Universal Dental Implant Center dentists and other professionals employed by our practice are thoroughly qualified and have all documents to support this fact. We stand by our work here at Universal Dental Implant Center. Although I am understanding of the patient's complaints, comments, and concerns, this would also lead me to my next point. We have no way to reach out to the patient that has filed this complaint to discuss how we can resolve this issue. Nobody in our electronic or paper files goes by the name "**** ***". While I am aware that this is most likely being used as an anonymous name to file the complaint, unfortunately there will be no way to proceed forward. As stated by the anonymous individual who filed the complaint, the desired settlement of "Contact by the business" cannot be competed at this time due to the lack of information provided about the patient. We will be more than happy to cooperate and resolve this issue as soon as possible. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

      Better Business Bureau:

      Please be aware that there was no communication between myself and the dental office after they refused to return my money for work not done. I sent my complaint to the credit card company with proof of work not completed and they refunded the money requested. The dental company only reached out after a negative ****** review.

      6-7-2024, THIS COMPANY ,HAS TO RETURN THE MONEY THAT THEY ******* FROM THE FINANCE COMPANY,BECAUSE THEY FILLED OUT THE PAPERS FOR THE WORK THAT THEY WERE GOING TO DO FOR ME,MADE ME SIGN THE PAPERS FOR THE LOAN WITHOUT ASKING ME ANY QUESTIONS, BUT WHEN I GOT HOME IREAD THE PAPERS AND CALL THEM RIGHT BACK AND CANCELED, AND NOW I HAVE A ***** THAT IS NOT MINE, WHEN THE BACK CALLED ME ABOUT A PAYMENT I TOLD THEM THE SAME THING, BUT THEY KEEPSAYING THAT I" M RESPONSIBLE, SO I CALL THE DENTIST AND THEY KEEP SAYING THAT THEY ARE SENDING THE MONEY,BUT THEY NEVER SENT IT,THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR A WHILE,I AM A CANCER PATIENT AND THESE PEOPLE ARE MAKING MY LIFE MISERIABLE.PLEASE HELP ME, I HAVE NO WHERE TO TURN.
