    The center issued a promotion during the summer that was deliberately misleading. Their promotion encouraged consumers to sign up for a 2-month commitment at $25 per month. The language used in the promotion led me to believe that the center was offering a 2-month promotion at a rate of $25 per month. However, the center now claims that it was supposed to be $25 for one month, and the second month was at their regular rate of $159. This was misleading and deceptive.
    On August 1, 2023:
    - I signed up for the $25 promotion online. No contract or signature were required. I asked Cyclebar Fort Lee about the cancellation policy prior to signing up and they told me that all I had to do is to notify them at the front desk and they would take care of it.
    - Clearly, as of today, Tuesday, September 5th, that hasn't been the case.
    On August 31st,
    - I called on the morning of August 31st. I spoke to the manager Josh who asked me to show him a copy of the promotion email.
    - Later that day, I went in person, but the center's doors were closed during business hours.
    - On the same evening, I went in person again and asked to speak to the manager, Josh. I was unable to speak with him. Spoke to the front desk representative who confirmed receipt of my request to cancel my membership. She said that as long as they receive it by that day (Aug 31st), that they would honor my request to cancel, even if I didn't hear back from anyone at the center.
    - I cancelled my membership via email and in person, and the representative at the front desk assured me that my membership would be cancelled.
    On September 1st:
    returned to the center, but the manager was off. I asked to speak to the regional manager, who was on the phone, but she refused to take my call.
    In an attempt to resolve this matter, I left a message in person for the manager , but have not received a response.

    Gave this place a month trial since they took spinning classes away at my gym. I only had the intention to give this a 1 month trial since *********** isn't a short drive for me, esp with traffic. The front receptionist said in order to cancel your membership, you need to notify us a MONTH in advance so I did it right on the spot as I was purchasing my membership. A few weeks into the month, I checked in to make sure my membership wasn't going to continue. Front receptionist says I should hear back from their manager. I get charged $200 for the month of Nov. I call them and ask for a refund, they said our manager ******** handles the refunds and cancellations of the membership. It's Feb 5th and no one has reached out to me about my membership. Every month, they continue to take $200 from my account so I had to FREEZE my account. I've left them over 10 messages to the *********** location, no answer. My card is a freeze and they continue to email me to update my credit card information. Worst experience ever. Do yourself a favor and don't bother coming here for a trial.
