    I purchased a CarPlay retrofit from the business listed above, CarPlay Retrofits, for my Porsche Cayenne on June 13th, 2024. I was sent the parts as ordered, but once installed, they were not functional. Myself and my husband made contact immediately, and despite attempts to troubleshoot the issues, it remained dysfunctional. The company, CarPlay Retrofits, requested that we return the item along with the head unit from the vehicle for repair. We did as instructed. Months passed and my husband maintained contact while we were strung along. We requested to just have our original unit returned and a refund. After reaching out numerous times again, they explained that they did not have my unit and they had sent it to someone else. They stated that it would be returned to them, then they would ship my unit. They have since cut off all communications, and my vehicle has been left without any head unit at all for the past 8 months. I need help in resolving this issue as well as ensuring this doesn’t happen to anyone else again. The initial purchase was for $641.95. It is going to cost me hundreds of more dollars for me to replace the unit in this vehicle now since they have the original, so all in all I will be out a couple thousand dollars.
