    Mower was picked up 4-25-2024. We advised problem was Craftsman rider mower was blowing out a cloud of blue smoke when running and could not be used. We spoke to mechanic Jason and advised we wanted it fixed and he said it was due to lack of oil change and he would change oil and filter and tune up and replace mower blades. Jason the mechanic was guessing at problem of blue smoke. No paperwork was ever presented to us. May 17th 2024 I was advised mower was ready. I asked if blue smoke was repaired and wanted to know exactly was done for $180.00 price. Dylan said was still blowing blue smoke and would go back to mechanic Jason. Mower was returned about 5-31-2024 we were told by Jason in an earlier conversation the oil filter was a mess but we should run engine to clear. When mower was brought back by Dylan mower would not go into gear and asked if we would help push off flatbed. I advised we would not accept a mower that did not go into gear and to take back and fix. He made a call and found that the brake was locked somehow and he released the lock to drive off flatbed Mower was smoking as bad if not worse than when it was picked up. He advised engine was pretty much shot but we could still use. We were pretty much in shock gave him the check and received no receipt or paperwork other than a couple tags tied to mower. Engine was totally black so evidence of any tune up is not there. Why would an intelligent mechanic put new blades on a machine that was a health hazard and not repaired for the reason it was sent in for? I told them I wanted my money back due to repair not completed. Mower can't be used.
