      The ******************** program at RCSJ is very disorganized and slipshod. Our CNA class was postponed several times (for personal issues of the instructor), a total of 4 days. The hours were also changed, from morning to afternoon, and then back to mornings again. Most days started late; either the instructor or too many students were tardy. Often, when we did have class, the instructor didn't get back from break on time so we students were left to study on our own. Many days we were let out early. All told, we had about 20 in-class instruction hours instead of 90. We only managed to get to 4 clinical days instead of 9; the admin and instructor kept saying we couldn't go because we hadn't submitted all our health records/vaccinations. But they lost some documents. I had submitted record of my flu shot and they lost it. I had to get another copy from my doctor and resubmit it. We waited 3 weeks before we could take our skills test. After we took and passed that, they didn't send in the results to the state, so there was another 5 week delay before we could take our state test. When we finally took that, the ***************** said it had been so long since we started the process that our fingerprints had expired, so they have to reprocess them before our certification can be given. To date, we are still waiting on that. It is over 5 months since we started the class. The admin is daughter to the instructor, so it is a family-run affair.
