    Having RK remodel our bathroom was the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor. In the end, our bathroom turned out ok, but what I had to go through to get there was ridiculous. The general contractor lied to us about timeframe (said our bathroom would take 2 weeks but it took 2.5 months). She was completely uninterested in our project. She would send contractors who didn't even know what they were supposed to do. She had no schedule, no project plan--I made her write out what they would be doing and when on a calendar twice, and both times she completely missed the ***** I had to text her to beg her to send the next contractor. She only showed up at our house at the beginning, when I insisted, and when she was picking up a check. Accounting for additions to billing was non-existent. Out of a $2500 increase to price she could only produce receipts for about $1100. Then at the end of the project when she added another $850, I again asked what it was for and she named things that she had named previously for the other increase. I have no idea how much I overpaid because there weren't enough invoices available to know. I asked for invoices and receipts, she offered to come over and talk to me about it. I know that I overpaid thousands for general contracting services because that service mainly consisted of her calling contractors to come to my house, sometimes literally in the wrong order of how you are supposed to remodel a bathroom. Most of the contractors individually were either good or OK, but again, it is not worth dealing with this general contractor. Find someone who cares about your project, has a plan to complete it, and is honest with you about how much it will cost and how long it will take.

    I dont even know where to begin. We've done MANY large projects before, none of which seemed to go as sideways as this one. Im going to share both the positive and negative, although the negative far outweighed any positive.To start, we found **** to be incredibly disorganized. Because **** was rarely around, she never knew what step was next was. After one part was finished, the project would stall until WE reached out to let her asking about next steps. There were times we waited WEEKS for materials that were sitting in our driveway. One of the contractors remarked that he framed an ENTIRE home in less time than it took to frame our deck due to the mismanagement of materials.In addition to being disorganized, **** seemed to lack the experience necessary to handle a large job. Ie, which order certain things came in, how to coordinate with her contractors, etc. So we watched her stumble through this project. In the beginning we just felt bad for her because she seemed so frazzled and over her skiis on our project that we didnt want to upset her. We had a curve in our deck and the project sat on hold for 6 weeks because she didnt know that she could start the refacing without the curved boards until WE researched it and found a way to start while we were waiting for one piece.She double charged us for several things and lacked an understanding of basic math. We had to go to her at LEAST twice to explain how she already charged us for the same thing in another line item. Like legitimately, she had to come over and we had to do math with a pencil, paper and calculator in front of her on several occasions. We had to pull out camera footage to verify that her guys worked 24 hours, not the 48 that she was charging us for **** was very responsive, however when she did respond she would answer only part of the questions and give incomplete answers whenever there was something a bit more complex to discuss.At first we though we were crazy.
