On Wednesday, November 20th, 2024, I received a job posting for a Production Manager role. In the subject line, as well as throughout the job description, it stated that this was a remote position. No salary or rate information was listed. I also received three phone calls and multiple text messages urging me to confirm my interest and to respond as quickly as possible.Upon following up and asking for details, I was told that this is in fact an onsite role and requires frequent time in the office. I also learned that the hourly rate was lower than industry standards and unable to be adjusted, despite what I assume is a 20-30% agency fee being collected by Della InfoTech. On top of this, I received an identical job posting from another recruiter at Della Infotech just a s short time later. It is clear no one at this company is aware of existing outreach or what other employers or teams are doing, and operate in silos.Della InfoTech is a negligent, ***************** that operates under the guise of a recruiter for supposed opportunities that require highly technical skills and abilities. They simply exist to collect and sell information and have no intent of representing legitimate candidates and placing them in relevant roles. Della InfoTech should be stripped of their SBE certification and any license to continue operating as a technical recruiter, and reclassified as a for profit data collection firm.

      Business Response

There was a miscommunication on the position being remote. Our system is designed so that recruiters can only send text messages to candidates after verbal communication has taken place. In this instance, the recruiter sent the candidate a message to the candidate after the call, which the candidate responded to accepting the position. However, the recruiter quickly realized their mistake and immediately apologized, clarifying that the position was mistakenly mentioned as remote when it is, in fact, an onsite role. This was an honest oversight, as the recruiter incorrectly identified the job as remote instead of onsite. We have taken action internally to address this matter and will implement measures to ensure such miscommunications are avoided in the future. We sincerely apologize for any confusion caused and appreciate your understanding as we work to improve our processes.

I am rejecting this response because:

This complaint was not resolved, as I see this business is still licensed and operational.

The response provided by the business is factually incorrect and further evidence of the fraudulent and negligent business practices on display by Della Infotech. There was no verbal communication and no phone call. Additionally, this was not an "honest oversight" as the position was clearly listed as REMOTE in both the subject line of the email, and several times throughout the body of the email.

I demand further action, resulting in Della Infotech being stripped of its license. I also require, in writing, a statement explaining the tangible steps taken when they say they have, "taken action internally to address this matter and will implement measures to ensure such miscommunications are avoided in the future."

Millions of people across the country are seeking gainful employment. Companies such as Della Infotech and their outsourced resources only stand in the way of good, hard working Americans. They must be stopped as there is no place for their fraudulent, deceitful ways of doing business in this current job market.

We appreciate the opportunity to respond to this follow-up regarding complaint # 22583264
As stated in our initial response on 11/25/2024, we have thoroughly reviewed the concerns raised and provided explanation that there was a miscommunication in which the recruiter mentioned the position was a remote instead of onsite, the job that was advertised is still genuine except that it was incorrectly mentioned as remote. We have been in business for 13 years, and we take pride in ensuring that all our job postings are genuine and accurately represent the opportunities available. This error does not reflect our standard practices, and we deeply regret any confusion caused. We have taken necessary action against the recruiter internally and additional measures have been implemented to strengthen our job posting and communication processes to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
Considering all facts above, we respectfully request that the BBB consider this matter resolved and close the complaint.
Please let us know if there is anything else that we can assist further.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
