I was quoted an amount for moving my stuff and was promised where my stuff would be stored. They never informed me of where my stuff was stored or how to acquire this information. When asked, they told me I was just supposed to know to call. The storage quoted was $300 and I am now, without receiving an updated quote, being told it is $1230 for storage. They are telling me my payment is late, but I never received an email with information on where or what to pay and what the charges are. I have contacted Coast to Coast, but the phone goes to Better Moving. They have asked for a ***** payment, but they are not registered with ***** with the email they gave me. I don’t feel comfortable paying them for fear it is a scam, but they have my stuff. It feels like my stuff is being held ransom and the terms of how to get my stuff were never given to me and keep changing. I have called to communicate and the last call they hung up on me.

Coast to coast sent an original bill of ****** with the total amount of move *******. This was agreed upon and it was signed at this rate. 10 days prior to move they sent another bill of ****** increasing this price to ******* stating it was for fuel increase demanded **** more dollars and another signature and than said it would be an additional **** at pick up and drop off. This was obviously not okay as any other moving company quotes about the original price. These guys then put a clause that if you sign the original actually appropriate cost and bill that you only have 3 days to then cancel. My bet would be that nobody has cause to cancel within that 3days because they dont send their intent to rob you until much much later. Than are unwilling to refund his money. This is absolutely an insane way of allowing one to do business. Upon speaking with another company they said this company changes names constantly and continues to do this and scam people. We want the entire refund of all things paid prior to be scamming or this will be a small claims court if for nothing else for the good of getting them to think about continuing to run a business this way.

This is another long issue regarding a moving company that has no intention in rectifying their misinformation, ************* tactics, poor information provided, and poor customer service provided. The first interaction with ****** was exceptional until I received a call from Job to confirm the reservation. *** proceeded to tell me that I didn't have my bedroom set included, quick to increase and add up additional charges, even went as far as stating that ****** didn't do his job in quoting the original rate and deposit. Needless to say I ended the conversation and promptly called back. I then spoke with ******* who confirmed my original order. I also called again to ensure. When I spoke with the lady to confirm pick up I informed her of the tight drive into the apartment complex. Her words were, "Not to worry that's the driver's concern." Well that concern was my worry at an additional $400 for the equipment used to transport my belongings to my apartment. In addition, all the incorrect information provided to me like, the movers will be able to pack your dishes, pack and take your wall pictures/paintings with no worries, listed bedroom incorrectly then blamed me for not knowing I should have stated a Queen ******** AND box, with head and footboard- which was told, but not included on the inventory list. Due to all the misinformation I didn't purchase enough cubic square feet for my items. Therefore I had to pay for additional cubic square feet costing me an additional $1,000.00. I understand it was an ESTIMATE, but with the poor information provided, Coast to Coast should compensate for some of the additional cost due to the incorrect information provided, incorrect listing of items told at onset, extremely poor customer service and lack of follow-up. ********************** to ********************** needs to properly communicate with the moving company they hire so it doesn't cost the customer an extreme amount of unforeseen costs. I was out of an additional $1400.00+. I would gladly take $800.00

I decided on this company for my move following a conversation I had with ***. In this call he told me that this company did not subcontract out to other companies and I was given a base estimate for the coast, told that there was already a truck headed to Tacoma from the Houston area with date similar to mine so my stuff would arrive right on my move in day. I was told that the estimated cost would not go up very much I less I had a motorcycle or other major appliance. I then deal with ***************** to get the schedule and am told that it is actually going to be more money (I spoke with them twice and each time I was told it would be ***** more so my initial under ***** was almost double by the end of it all). Turns out that they do subcontract out to other businesses and the one my move was given to has very bad reviews. ***** was my lead mover in getting my stuff from my Houston apartment and he made it out like he was doing me all these favors because I was actually going to owe even more money and by him not charging me for all of it he probably wouldn't get paid. One of his helpers damaged my headboard (I found the part later) I have tried to get in touch with C2C and their either hang up on me or don't return my calls. The company they subcontracted me out to not only damaged and destroyed some of my belongings but also stole four heirloom rings from my belongings.

Coast to coast booked NJ Transportation for my daughters move from SC to **. Upon arrival to pick up her possessions, the driver demanded additional cash via Zelle. It is now one week later and her delivery has bot showed up, has blocked her phone calls and neither company has returned my phone calls or emails. This is a complete scam business. 100% of my daughters possessions need to be returned, as well as her payments. I also wish to file a criminal theft complaint w/subpoena delivered to both parties. Please call me as soon as possible. *************************** **************
