The Ycaza Family hired ************************************ with MDO Brother Builders **** To do our remodel , He told us that is going to be 20k and need it 10k to start the job Good contractors can bring piece of mind, knowledge of industry standards and project management expertise....Perhaps the most stress relief comes from the fact that the general contractor is responsible for the quality of all the work he or she oversees as part of the contract. If something goes wrong during the construction, it's up to the general contractor to get it fixed. The cost of those repairs comes out of the contract budget, not your pocket. The contractor hired a subcontractor to do the tile floor we purchased all the material over $6000 in tile and material need it. He told us it would not take more than a week. Right after being hired he went away on a week or two week trip to go see his son that's supposedly by law the judge orders him to stay at a hotel for one week prior him seeing his son leaving the sub workers unsupervised and the job being neglected. The people that used to have contracted were very messy they left masks around the house tools all over the place food trash boxes trash bottled waters as if no one lives here.We call ******** and we told him about the circumstances we also told him that the tile was not being laid correctly. We also explain to him also the behavior of the people he subcontracted. He called the people he subcontracted and told him to go clean up the place and to pull everything out and that belongs to them it took him almost two hours to clean our home.. The following week ************************* Arrived from his trip and was suppose to meet the family. When he showed him all the job he did not even inspect the work right away with out he said that the job was PERFECT. He walked of the job now we have to break some Tile to fix and level the floor. He refuses to do it right and to gives us the money back
