      I purchased the 22 oz. package of *************** and when portioning it out for future serving the net weight was found to be ****% (3.5 oz.) less than the 22 oz indicated on the package. Company **************** line is always busy and could be out of order so I couldn't talk to the company directly about my problem. The meal was very good and so if this should happen the next time I make a purchase of this product, I'll have no choice but to file a complaint with the ************************ (FTC). Interestingly enough, but not a complaint, the front of the package boldly proclaims "2 Servings", but the nutritional information panel indicates three portions.

      Dear BBB,

       

      This customer submitted the same complaint to our online portal, in which we have responded to and sent coupons in accordance with our policies.

      We are confused by this customer's math as they state the initial bag weight to be **** oz and later split this into three equal 3.5 oz portions, which totals out to be only **** oz. All bags are sealed then weighted by a calibrated scale (that is verified no less than once per hour) before being packed by machine into cases. Any bag found to be over or under weight is automatically removed from this line by a pneumatic arm into locked bins for rework purposes and cannot make its way to a customer. This customer also informed ** that they purchased two additional bags of product that did not have weightage issues, therefore we believe this to be an isolated incident possibly due to uncalibrated scale used by the customer.
