      DO NOT HIRE.****** (aka ***** or ***************************) stole $10,975 from me, and he is under a major investigation by the ** ********** of ******** Affairs (Case #****-160). He is also being sued by *at least* two other clients, soon to be three.Here are the details:On May 13, I paid Zohaib $10,975, a 50% deposit to make home improvements on my property. He said he would start on May 18 (I have a recording that proves this, but he has denied he ever promised this). On May 20, I discovered that he was in ******** and that work had never started.I decided to do a more thorough background check:- ******'s home improvement contractor's license ************** expired earlier this year on March 31. He's not supposed to sell or make home improvements on an expired license based on the ** Home Improvement Contractor's Registration Act. J&Z United Construction Co is an active **-based company.- He has five different aliases for the same business, which all have poor ratings and reputation: D&N Constructions, ***************, J&Z United Constructions, Fn Remodeling, and United Constructions are all Zohaib. Since then, I have gotten in touch with them and validated this.- The contract he gave me was invalid because it omitted information required by the ** Home Improvement Contractor's Registration Act.I canceled the work and demanded a refund, but ****** claimed he could only give it back as a check in-person, even though I offered other forms of money transfer. He said he wouldn't be back until June 1.June 1 comes around, and he's in ******. He didn't even email or text me that there was a delay. I had
