Writers Republic (WR) participated in a scam against me. DO NOT TRUST THEM! ** contacted me in June 2024 and said that the **************** in ** wanted 1800 copies of my book to be sold in 4th quarter 2024. I had to pay WR $1,000.00 to help with the shipping. WR actually billed me as marketing, not shipping. When October rolled around, I went to Strand's website to find the link for my book, as I have people waiting to buy it.Not there!I contacted my marketing manager, Lexi *****, and she said she would look into it. She emailed me saying that it is supposed to be on the website on Nov 3rd, 2024. Sounds weird to me but I went with it. Nov 3 rolls around. No book. Again, I contact Lexi ***** and she gets back to me saying they are having technical difficulties. But my book is there, according to her. Dec 2nd comes around and my book is STILL NOT THERE. At this time I have a friend go the Strand in person to see if my book is there. Naturally, my book is NOT there. Not only that, the Strand tells my friend that they have been impersonated by scammers using their name to get authors and publishers to send them copies of ******** I email Lexi, again, and I tell her my book is still not on the website. She emails me back and says it's now December and they are promoting Christmas books but my book is still there. At this point I email her back, including the letter from the Strand telling me that they have been impersonated and are working with the *** on this case.Suddenly, Lexi is very concerned about my missing book. Now, she is all sympathetic that this awful thing has happened.If any fraud lawyer is reading this, get in touch with me. I need your *************'s the best thing: I contacted my credit card companies to dispute the charges for this. because of that, **** told me they can't investigate what happened because they are dealing with the charge ******* NOT USE THIS COMPANY! EVER!

As soon as we were informed, we took immediate steps to investigate and provide support. Unfortunately, we were not in control of external factors affecting this ****************** Card Dispute We respect your right to dispute charges; however, financial institutions often place limitations on merchant investigations once a dispute is filed. This is standard procedure and not a refusal on our part to address the issue.We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you have faced. 5 starsThe Writer republic llc they haven't send me book copies Title is let get killed copies 200 of it and paycheck like pay me haven't received it yet at my house The problem is I don't reach out to them because they haven't did anything about it now. They telling me I don't own them the books and I the ****** of the book That was in June and July and August 2023 They were saying I don't own the books but I do because I am the writer of the book and I do have proof and I do have everything email. Don't believe any of these positive reviews, they are lies. Writers Republic is a big scam, and yes they will steal your royalties. They will claim them and you never receive the money. They will mess up your content on your book, Also, harass you with numerous phone calls. Making you believe that they are on your side. Writers Republic does not need to be in business, they have ripped many people off, especially first time Authors. Trust me this company is a big scam, I'm a witness to being scammed out of a lot of money. I'm telling you, please don't publish with these crooks. They also published my book without my permission, I hope that they get what they deserve. You don't treat people any kind of way, it will come back to hurt you in the end ??????Writers Republic, LLC

I published a book through writers republic. They did the services I paid for and published my book, however, I needed to fight for my 1st ever paycheck. I'm now overdue for another paycheck and nobody will reply to my emails and phone calls. It's like they took my money and ran after completing the book.
