    Forbes auto renewed my subscription without notice that it would be auto renewed. I didn't find out until I look at my bank account, and saw the charge. Contacted Forbes within the 24 hours the amount was taken out of my bank account requesting a refund. Refund was denied. Had I received the e-mail, I would have cancelled my subscription. I explained this in my e-mail, and my refund was still denied.

    Thank you for informing us about this complaint.  Forbes takes such claims seriously,and we have investigated this matter.  Although Forbes provided ******* with advanced notice and reminders about her automatically renewing subscription and how to cancel, as detailed below, Forbes will refund Ms. **** the annual subscription price of $59.95 as an accommodation. 

    To purchase a subscription to **************************, prospective subscribers are presented with various conspicuous disclosures about the automatic renewal and other material terms of the subscription. These disclosures include, without limitation, how to cancel the subscription before their payment method is automatically charged upon renewal and Forbes refund policy. Prior to purchase, subscribers must also specifically acknowledge and consent to the automatic renewal and our cancelation and refund policies by ticking an unchecked checkbox that is specifically reserved for these automatic renewal terms,indicating their agreement and consent.

    Subscribers also receive a reminder notice before their subscription renews, which contains information on how to cancel if they dont wish to renew.  Our records indicate that Ms. **** received this reminder at the email address she provided.

    We regret to learn that Ms. Hills inquiry into her subscription was not resolved by Forbescustomer service team, and Forbes will discuss this matter with them in an effort to prevent misunderstandings like this from happening.

    I received an unsolicited magazine from Forbes magazine to my home mailing address. I have never signed up for this magazine. I tried to contact Forbes by telephone and email to tell them to stop sending this magazine. I have not been able to reach anybody at the company. I am worried this could be a scam. I am worried I could be receiving a bill for a magazine that I did not sign up for.
