    We purchased a 2020 **** Transit over a month ago on 7/20/24. The check engine light on and they said they would take care of it. We never took ownership of the van. Well, it has been over one month and it is still at the shop getting repaired. We ask for our deposit back $5000.00 and we are getting the run around. I went there to ask to speak with the manger or the owner and I was told "they don't speak with anyone". I also inquired about the plates and they still don't have them! Keep in mind that our temp tags are expired. Don't buy anything from this company. Gaven Commercial takes advantage of the WORKING MAN, keeps a deposit for a van that has not been delivered therefore not being used to produce income and quite frankly full of excuses.

    "Disappointing experience at gaven auto group. I purchased a 2016 low roof cargo van with 120k miles for $35k, but issues arose:* Undisclosed damage (which they agreed to fix but didn't)* Questionable value (research suggests it's worth $23k, not $35k)* Mileage potential less than expected Before buying, I was told I could exchange if unhappy, but they refused when I tried. I feel misled about the van's condition and value. I urge others to carefully research and review contracts before signing."

    Hello *****,

    This vehicle was purchased on 5/13/2022, today is 2/21/2024. At the time of sale, if the vehicle was sold for $35k, then that was the value of the vehicle at the time of purchase. You financed this vehicle and a lender will not lend $35k on something that was worth $23k for risk purposes. 

    It is possible the vehicle is worth $23k TODAY, almost two years later, vehicles do depreciate.

    My son purchased a 2009 van from ***** which was priced at *********. That was alot of money for my son but he was assured that it was in great running condition - which is what he was looking for to use in his plumbing business. Several weeks after the purchase the transmission went and they did not want anything to do with his calls - they wiped their hands of the relationship (basically they got their money so they no longer needed to help him). They would not return calls and when they finally got back to him they told him it was his problem - they do not stand behind their sales My son had to come up with another $4,000.00 for this transmission of this vehicle which they said was in Great running condition. I wish my son would have read the reviews before purchasing a vehicle with them he would have seen ALL THE UNHAPPY CUSTOMERS! It's unfortunate that in America we allow such businesses to exist - they should be CLOSED DOWN FOR GOOD

    Hi ******** Mom,

    we pulled your son's file and saw he did purchase a work truck from **. He purchased the vehicle for $17,985, not $24,000

    At the time of sale, your son verified through a test drive that the vehicle was in great running condition. If it wasn't, he would have picked another one- we have dozens of cargo vans in stock.

    We returned every phone call from your son and your husband, and offered to have the work done at wholesale cost through a preferred vendor. It is unreasonable to expect us to pay for work done at an outside shop, several weeks later, and out of warranty. 

    We do stand behind our vehicles, however, the request must be within reason.

    On January 27,2023 I purchased a **** Transit vehicle from Gaven Auto Group 415 **-**************** ** ***** for ****** dollars I left a down payment of ***** the transmission stopped after 2 weeks I tried reaching out to them numerous of times they won't help

    Hi Shahiem,

    Our records indicate you reached out to us for service and we scheduled an appointment for you. The reason for your appointment reads "intermittent vibration" when driving. We conducted multiple road tests and found no vibration. Your complaint  says the transmission stopped after 2 weeks, however, we would not be able to conduct road tests if your vehicle were inoperable. After further diagnosis, we found no faults with your vehicle or codes that would indicate faults.

    I made 2 attempts with you guys you spoke to Technicians at **** and Aamco both telling you the transmission is failing to didn't make an effort to guys try to discredit professional . You can't stand behind your vehicles

    Hi *******,

    We stand behind our vehicles, and have no problem offering post sale relief to any of our customers. We service both nationwide fleets, and owner/operator guys like yourself. We sell hundreds of work vans a year and some of our customers are on their 6th and 7th truck from us, because of the product we sell and the service we offer.

    It is unreasonable to say your transmission failed from the time of purchase. Our records indicate when you brought your vehicle in for service, it had over ***** miles driven on it from when you purchased it. Additionally, after multiple road tests our techs found no signs of the intermittent vibration you described, No trouble codes appeared when the vehicle was diagnosed. The vehicle shifted through all gears during road testing. 

    We will not just throw a part at a hypothetical concern unless we are sure of that repair because if we do the job, and the vehicle continues to vibrate every once in a while you will not be satisfied. We have no problem trying to rectify this issue but all requests must be within reason.
