    I often buy food products from this store. On Thursday, March 9, 2023, my husband and I purchased four packages of stuffed cabbage at $9.00 each and a loaf of poppy seed bread for $8.99.We carried the items out of the store in hand because the merchant did not have any bags. I cannot remember if I was given a receipt. I paid for the items with my Citibank Mastercard.After a few weeks, when I was checking my credit card statement from Citi so that I could pay my bill, I noticed a charge from Super Delikatesy for $484.00. The charge should have been $48.00.I called the store and no one speaks English there so they hung up the phone on me. I immediately called ******** also and filed a dispute claim with them. They are unable to resolve the dispute because I do not have a receipt.Today, on April 14, 2023, I called Super Delikatesy again and asked to speak with someone who could speak English with me. A person came to the phone and when I began to explain there was a discrepancy with an amount I was charged, the person hung up on **** did NOT spend $484.00 in this store. I purchased five food items which totaled $48.00.Citibank advised me to contact the Better Business Bureau for help. Thank you.***************

    Hello,

    The complaint addressed on April 14, 2023 will be resolved on April 28, 2023. The complaint addressed an overcharge for groceries in which the client was charged $484.00 instead of $48.00. A mistake occurred during the purchase transaction in which an additional number was entered on the credit card machine. I contacted the customer and the customer will be coming today to receive a refund in either via original transaction or via cash. The customer understood the mistake that occurred during the transaction and was understanding of it. The customer received a phone call from the business, and agreed to come down and receive a refund from the business. All matters are settled, and both parties are in compliance of the decision that was made.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  The owner of Super Delikatesy was extremely nice and refunded my money.  I will continue to do business with them.  They resolved the problem as soon as they realized what happened.
