    On 6.14.2024 I asked to cancel my membership after many years and was told I would be charged an entire additional month of members fees for no reason other than that is it their policy.

    We paid monthly membership and annual facility fee. They promised to let us play pickleball at basketball court free of extra charge at scheduled open court session. Then they broken their promise and want to charge us extra $99/month to play at pickleball courts on the basketball floor. We had played there last winter season with membership.The manager said the reason is they had refaced the floor. If that is the reason, they should charge the same amount to all basketball players and badminton players on the basketball floor. They didn't do that.It is discrimination against the senior members. We both are more then 65 years old.

    I have been a member of the New Jersey Athletic Club since before they opened, they use to be Gold's Gym and I was a member at that time as well. When I joined about 20 years ago, I was offered a promotion in which you join and refer two people and they would honor your monthly rate for life. I made the two referrals and have had the same rate for the last 20 years until several months ago. Over the years they have made attempts to raise my rate, but I always responded with an email regarding their guaranteeing my rate for life and they would always leave it alone until just recently. They raised my rate and refuse to honor the agreement that we have had for about the last 20 years. Their argument is that all members should pay the same rate, none of those members have been with the gym for 20 years, none of those members were guaranteed their rate for life. My rate was ***** per month, it is now just over *****. They should honor my rate for life or reimburse me for ALL of the money I have given them considering they are in breach of contract. I've been loyal to them for decades and this is how they decided to treat me. Please advise what legal measures you recommend I take to have this matter resolved.

    I enrolled in summer for private swim lessons for my 2 kids and myself. NJAC collected the full class package fees upfront. However the assigned instructor left NJAC in August. It is now November. I have been calling and leaving messages for *****, the aquatics manager/ general manager and the owner almost every other week. She is never around. The owner is never around. The staff at the desk take messages and promise ***** will call back. Not once have the calls been returned. They have taken hundreds of dollars and have not bothered to provide an instructor, for now what has been months.
