08/07/23: Contacted Lawrenceville Fuel (LF) to install connection for a natural gas generator. LF sends out a technician to view my gas meter. The technician advises that I send them an email. I send an email to LF explaining exactly what I need done with pictures.08/08/23: ************************* (GH), owner of LF, emails a price quote: $665 plus the cost of the permit. He does NOT provide a written contract. He says " We wouild ask you to provide the quick connection for the hose," which makes no sense because the generator's hose already has a quick-connect.08/18/23: I call LF. **** tells me that providing the fitting for the hose should NOT be a problem.08/21/23: **** from LF comes out. Before starting, I show him the hose and generator. He confirms that providing the fittings should NOT be a problem. I ask **** if LF has obtained a permit. He says he spoke to a licensed plumber who told him that no permit is needed. This implies that **** is NOT a licensed plumber himself. **** installs some gas piping and valves onto my gas meter, but he's unable to obtain the correct fitting for the hose. The job is left incomplete.08/22/2023: I email LF to inform that I got the necessary fitting from Amazon. I request that they come back to complete the installation. They don't respond.12/19/2023: LF mails me an invoice for "gas piping" for $555.88.01/31/2024: GH comes to my home unannounced, in an unmarked vehicle and wearing plain clothes. Without knocking, ringing the doorbell, or announcing himself in any way, he proceeds to walk around my property and take pictures. My wife is home alone and is scared by this strange, unknown person. I tell her to call the police. ***** Police arrive and take a report. To this day, LF continues to send me invoices for the incomplete work they performed, even though this work was done without: a) a signed contract, b) a plumbing license, and c) a permit from the township. All of these are required by law.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

    Regards,

************************* report, and lastly a law suit. All we want is the parts back, and for it to be fixed. It's been 90+ degree days and we have no air since. It's been over 40 days, without a solution. They broke our unit and have abandon the job. Help! I can furnish phone records of how many times that either my wife or I have tried to call, and spoke with someone, then without any follow-up or resolution.

First, I would like to refute several of the Tyndales statements. We did not break their unit, they called us because it wasnt working. Second, there are two separate A/C units, and as far as we know, the other system is in proper working order, and they have air conditioning in at least part of their home.

The Tyndales did call us with a no cooling service call. We did send our most experienced tech, who happens to be our oldest. Fujitsu air conditioning systems are very compact, and parts are layered in the cabinet. The tech diagnosed an electrical problem and was attempting to disassemble the cabinet when the circuit board snapped.

I do question why the homeowners are insistent on low Freon unless someone else previously worked on the unit. I would have like to know who the other company was who determined the system only needed Freon. Why didnt they add the suggested *****? The very first thing a tech would do is put gauges on the system to detect if it was low on Freon. Being low on Freon was not the problem.

To rectify the situation, we called the local distributor who recommended the best Fujitsu tech in the area (LP HVAC.) We tried to send him as an impartial, third party to diagnose the problem. He evaluated the system and recommended replacing the outdoor condensing section since it was over 11 years old. The only missing part is the fan motor that we have, and had gotten a replacement for, when all work was stopped. A circuit board for the unit was not obtained. We thought the Tyndales and LP HVAC would come to an agreement on how to proceed at that point.

Later the Tyndales called and only wanted to get the unit running. We could not get LP ********** back. The reason is unknown.

We will offer, once again, to send LP HVAC, or if he is reluctant, we will return to replace the broken part and reinstall their original motor and diagnose the original cause for no A/C.
