  My parents passed away within 11 months of each other this past year. Needless to say, this is a difficult time for our family which required us to tie up their affairs. When you request to have a tombstone, it takes some time so we needed to wait. When it was delivered, my father's birth date was not correct. Needless to say, it had to be fixed. I reached out to Payless and got the typical run around echoed in these reviews. I finally got a phone number of a manager, texted pictures withclear evidence that it was their mistake, and was told it would be fixed. In November, my sister laid a wreath and the birthdate was not fixed. I texted Payless who said they /were working on it. Six months to fix a letter? Really? I called up an engraver who I found through a colleague. The engraver went in and within two weeks fixed their error. Please avoid this company at all costs - work with your cemetery on who you should engage, take your time on vetting these places. If a company has a name with Pay Less, you're getting what you pay for.

  After numerous calls my dad had made and several months and payments received there still has been no call back and no tombstone placed at grave. i called numerous times and he keep giving me promises he wasn't keeping like he would say everytime I called it was by this weekend or call me Monday will let you know. ll lies. He didnt even get the paperwork done to get permission to put the stone at the grave site before making the stone. Unprofessional I dont not recommend. am mad because he even said he would have it done for my birthday so that I can visit since I took that day out of work with out pay. but nothing was there.

  Its been 3 years that my family paid in full to add my mothers name on the existing headstone at the grave and nothing has been done and no contact with them. This is very upsetting and hurtful.

  Do not use this business! I paid a deposit in June 2022. They informed me there was a back up of 5 to 6 months due to Covid. I understood and accepted. I contacted them the beginning of December. They said it should be another week or two. They finally called on December 31st, I full paid and later found out from cemetery they removed the existing gravestone on December 27th. (My dad's name and info was being added to my aunt's; my dad's sister's gravestone.) I asked how long it would take, They said 1 or 2 weeks. Didn't get a call back. On January 19th, 2023, they finally picked up my call after several attempts within a few days. I asked if the gravestone was completed and placed back. They said yes. I stated my dad's 1st anniversary was the next day (January 20th) and my siblings and I were going to the cemetery. Mind you they're located in **********, me and two of my siblings live in two different States. They assured me the gravestone was placed. One guess.....next day we placed flowers to a plot with no gravestone! Needless to say how upset we were. Headed to their office and it was closed. I later called and a female didn't know what to say after I told her what happened. She said she would call me back. About an hour later, I got a call from the guy that works there saying his paperwork showed completed. I told him it wasn't and if he wanted pictures. He said he would go to the cemetery after he closed the store to confirm and if the gravestone wasn't there, he would make sure he took care of it with the next week or two. Today is February 15th, still haven't heard from them. I call and leave messages but no one calls back. This business is a disgrace. No consideration to people's feelings, no professionalism, no work ethic.
