    I rent my apartment from Wessex management and they have been harassing me and my 12 year old daughter in the last 6 months because they want me to move out. I notified them that my apartment is in need of repairs and appliances that needed to be replaced, they told me to prepare for them to come in to do the repairs, which I did and they came in to do an inspection instead and did none of the repairs.

    Due to unhygienic conditions, we have given a notice to cease and quit. The tenant doesn't keep her apartment clean. She has been urged to clean her apartment on multiple occasions. We have evidence of everything. She has a cat fetus in the apartment, along with heaps of clothes and other goods. For years, this has been the case. We can demonstrate this with pictures and witnesses. Because everything is dispersed throughout the unit, maintenance is unable to enter.

    I am rejecting this response because:I just saw their response now.  They have not been back to the apartment to do a follow up inspection, if they had, they would see that the apartment is now fully cleaned and maintenance can enter to do any necessary work.  Bottom line is that they want to evict me and their reasoning no longer has merit.  I want them to reconsider their decision and come and fix the issues in the apartment so that this issue can be resolved.  I am a single mom and a teacher and things did get messy in the apartment, I admit that, however, I have cleaned it all up and can provide pictures to show as evidence as well.

    We will be reaching out to the resident to schedule a follow up inspection to determine the current status of the apartment.  Due to the ongoing and recurring nature of the lease violations, this matter will likely need to be resolved through the courts where an enforceable agreement can be made.
