Yesterday 12/3, my partner, 5 month old daughter, our extended family and I visited the christmas tree farm. We drove 2 hours and spent time in the village and shoppes, these were both amazing and if i was only speaking on those experiences i would not even be sending this. But, We purchased a pre-cut tree from the lot due to the fact it was raining and we had faith that the pre-cut would be fine coming from a cut your own farm. Upon arriving home we immediately put the tree in water and unwrapped it. IMMEDIATELY it started losing a concerning amount of needles, in good faith we decided to take the attendant's word that the tree was fine, but by this morning we had to accept that the is absolutely no way this tree is "fine." We have not even had the tree for 24 hours, the branches are snapping in our hands as we attempt to open the tree, this is not conducive with a healthy or safe tree whatsoever. We have an astronomical amount of bare branches as well. I have been getting live christmas trees for 30 years and have NEVER seen anything like this. It is a complete fire hazard and we are so concerned we are not even putting lights on it. This is beyond unacceptable, especially for a $117 tree and after doing further research we are not the only people having this problem.the amount of pine needles around the tree after the FOURTH time cleaning it off and vacuuming and it repeatedly happens. I hope that we can rectify this issue immediately as this is BEYOND unacceptable.
