    On 1/16/24, we contracted Corbin Electric to install a Generac generator. On 2/23/24, Corbin came to install the generator. The gentleman who was to install the gas line approached me shortly after arriving and stated that it could not be installed the way the salesman had stated in the contract. There was in issue with where the gas line could be installed and he did not know how to proceed. Another gentleman arrived to help him, and they looked at my attic, garage and property in order to determine how to install and they could not figure it out. The gentleman said that every one out of 10 houses is like mine where the generator just can't be installed. He said my house and attic are filled with nails from the **** and old wiring and it would be a hazard to install gas lines through it. I have an old house on a slab which makes it difficult to run the gas and electric lines. He told me a supervisor would be in touch. A few days later, *********************** got in touch with us and told us that they would have to change the location of the Generac from the side of my house to directly on my patio. And, a trench would have to be dug as well for an underground gas line, which we were not comfortable with. A few days later, we were told there would now be an additional $2500 fee. We did not contract for this, nor was I aware it would be complicated and a potential hazard. Corbin has delayed giving me my deposit of $3500 back, so I put in a dispute with my credit card. Now they are keeping $2800 of the deposit! They did NO WORK whatsoever, and wanted to charge us even more than we agreed to, and place the Generator on my patio in addition to putting wiring in a hazardous area.
