I was fitted to replace an existing older bridge in my mouth. I was told that I needed it to be adjusted to include an extra tooth to insure it's stability.
I had all the necessary preparation in my mouth to fit my new bridge.
As it was being put in my mouth the bridge broke in a half. I had to wait 3 weeks for a replacement bridge. The new bridge was put in and 2 days later it broke in half in my mouth. Again I waited another 3 weeks for a replacement, leaving me again with an open space in my mouth.
Three weeks later I got a replacement bridge and that lasted about a month and the surface of one tooth fell off. After this dental visit the dentist that was caring for me, just left the practice. Three to 4 weeks later, I was called in to get my fourth bridge. I was greeted by a temporary dentist for the practice. He was very good and said the new bridge was not sturdy and he thought better to put that bridge in my mouth because it was not sturdy and I would have the same problem. The dental office sent away to the lab for yet another bridge #5. I waited again over 3 weeks and I was called in to have my new #5 bridge installed. After I was seated. in the chair to get my new bridge I was presented with a piece of metal and the dental assistant said I would be getting another impression with this piece of metal. The dentist was not happy and had nothing to put in my mouth. Again I was told that they would have to get back to the dental lab and try to get it back as soon as possible. It's been 2 weeks with no resolve. I asked for my $9,200 be refunded and I would go to another dental practice. I paid the $9,200 up front before any work was done. They have not as of this week provided me with a resolution.

We understand *** ******* frustration, as it has taken longer then we would have liked to complete the process. We received multiple faulty products back from lab and had to have them remade.  We did offer to this process through to completion, however, *** ***** did not want to continue at that time.  I have since reached out to try and worked things out again.  We are very eager to make this right. *** ***** has an appointment 1/8/25 to have the bridge sent to a different lab to get a product that is sturdy and durable. There is no additional fees to the patient and we will work tirelessly to ensure *** ***** is satisfied with the end result.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

I am in the process of getting a new bridge with a new lab. I told the office I would not accept the same dental lab and they now agreed to use a new lab. I have only been in for a consultation appointment to date. I have to start the a new process from start to finish. As I am pleased with their agreement, to use another lab, it remains to be seen the outcome of my process. I hesitate to close this complaint, at this point it has not been resolved. Again I I have been paying for this, in February, it will be a year and I have not received a permanent bridge. I have been dealing with an empty space in my mouth and rough edges and a loose bridge for the last 4 months.

I'm pleased they have agreed to change labs to do the work. Prior to this they said they would be using the same lab,  that was what my objective to go with a new lab. I felt my wishes were being ignored. They had me see a temporary dentist, who knew nothing of my case. He was not satisfied with the lab's work. I went back for another appointment and it went from bad to worse. The office manager told me they would not give me my money back and they would order another bridge from the same lab.

As much as I am hopeful they will do the bridge with a new lab, I'm still waiting for the outcome. At this point I do not feel that I should disgard this complaint. Thank you for your thoughtfulness attention to this matter.

    Sincerely,

    ***** *****
