  would give no stars if I could. This review is specific to the billing staff and billing process of the office. I have no issue with the doctors, nurses, or medical staff.I had 2 spinal steroid injections at Vanguard. When I went in to the first one that morning, I was told I had a $400+ copay. I was not warned of this ahead of time and I complained about that. They apologized and said they usually inform the patients prior to procedure day and wasnt sure why I wasnt told but it was what it was. I paid it and had my procedure. I had to go back for a second one a couple months later. Before I went in for that one I called the office to inquire how much I would have to pay. I spoke to the ****** in the office who was extremely rude and told me that had I owed any money she would have told me. To that I responded, you didnt the first time, so I didnt want to take any chances. She had me on hold while she checked. She came back on the line and said emphatically no, there would not be a copay this time. I went in and had the second procedure. A month later I received a bill for over $500. I called the office to ask about this and received nothing but attitude and dismissiveness. I was told that they didnt think I did but they had made an error and yes, in fact I do owe. So I spend the last 6 months calling and complaining and speaking with anyone I can to discuss the fact that although they messed up and admitted to messing up I was still required to pay this bill. I finally gave up and paid because I did not want to deal with it anymore and I did not want it going to collections. But never would I ever trust this office or believe anything they say. If you have to get a procedure herecall your insurance company yourself. Do not trust them or their billers. I will never get a procedure here again because it is not worth going through this.
