Had momma **************** in our attic. Called NJ Animal Control thinking they were run by the state of NJ, which they aren't. They charged me $399 for putting a trap in my attic for 3 days. Raccoons didn't go in the trap. They took the trap after 3 days because they don't work weekends. Called again, this time they stuck a trap outside on the side of my house where the raccoons weren't even coming & going, didn't catch a raccoon and charged me an additional $339. Then they suggested I hire a company to tear out my soffits, and they'll come remove them manually. Fat chance! Terrible waste of money calling this company.

We are very disappointed to receive this customer review. Mrs. ******* reached out to our office in April regarding animal activity in her attic space. An inspection was performed on April 22nd. That inspection showed juvenile raccoons an inaccessible area of the attic. There was also roof damage identified during the inspection appointment. A referral for the roof repair work was provided to the Sanfords. Our company, which is privately owned and we explicitly state ourselves as such on our website and ****** business profile, suggested trapping services to remove the juvenile raccoons. Mrs. ******* approved the estimate for trapping and the trapping session was scheduled for three days from April *****. The trap was removed as scheduled and there was no evidence of any raccoon activity during the trapping session (this is not uncommon with wildlife as animals typically only stay in safe spaces (like attics) until the juveniles are old enough to fend for themselves outdoors). We did not receive a response to our update regarding the results of the trapping session, nor did Mrs. ******* reach out to provide any negative feedback regarding our service. After almost two weeks, Mrs. ******* reached out again on May 8th to discuss the possibility of another round of trapping. Mrs. ******* was again provided a quote, which was discounted given she was a past customer, and a second trapping session was scheduled for May 12th. Again, there was no activity during the session. Following the second trapping session, we offered to come out while the roofing contractor was there to attempt to remove the raccoons (if still present) during the repair work. We again did not receive a response, nor did we receive any complaints or negative feedback regarding our service from Mrs. ***************** is unfortunate that Mrs. ******* did not reach out to us directly to share her comments. We provided all of the services that we stated we would do for this customer. Until Mrs. ******* repairs the damages to her roof, she will continue to have issues with animals in her attic as she is providing access to the interior of her home for wildlife. In closing, I do want to directly respond to Mrs. ********* statement that we took the trap after three days because we do not work on the weekends. Along with many other false allegations regarding pricing and services provided by Mrs. ******** this statement is also completely inaccurate. The trap was picked up after three days because that was the agreed upon timing for trapping. We do not trap on weekends because we have staff on-call for police emergencies only, and it would be inhumane and considered animal cruelty to leave an animal in a trap for an entire weekend.
