My car was parked for 2 hours at ******* ***** Condominiums in Mount Laurel, NJ. During those 2 hours, the front of my car was damaged by a lawnmower riding on the sidewalk in front of my vehicle on 4/22/25 between 1-3pm. I witnessed several workers in the same area cutting grass and using leaf blowers very close to my vehicle. I contacted the ******* ***** HOA who put me in contact with the business owner. The business owner Frank L. came to assess the damage on Monday 4/28 and denied all accountability immediately. I know his workers did it because there was no damage to my car prior to being parked in that spot on 4/22, and it's highly unlikely that any other heavy machinery or other vehicles were driving on the sidewalk (where my car was pointing nose in) to have sustained this level of damage. I know that the damage was not there prior because I did a full 360 check of my car earlier that day and saw no damage. I regularly check my car because of this exact situation. I have already filed a claim with my insurance, the damage will probably total 3k-5k. Frank said that his workers make no mistakes, and there is no possible way they did this because he's "never seen damage like this before" and the damage "would be way worse if they hit the vehicle." If Frank says he has never seen damage like this before, then how can he definitively say that his workers did not do this? I approached a worker named Ismael that day on 4/22 and asked if they knew anything about it. He indicated to me that he knew something had happened, and told me to call the owner, and he would not provide any further details. This is unacceptable for a contractor doing business in a highly populated residential area to definitively deny all accountability when he was not even present that day. I have observed these workers recklessly driving their riding mowers on the sidewalks on a weekly basis. Frank refused to provide insurance information which I believe he is legally obligated to.
