      I was not able to use any of the time that I had signed up for due to sickness. Again, I have been sick and not able to come to an intense hot yoga class as I would be infecting other people, and feel that would not be appropriate (I was also under the advice of a doctor that told me not to attend anything physical).I was directed to contact the owner, through the website. I am very disappointed that instead of allowing me to use the payment for the future or to have credit for when I am able to participate in physical activity again (not an outrageous ask as I never asked for my money back at that point) I was given an extended month. I could not use it this month because (I was ill) so basically, they just kept the money and I did not receive any services. I would think that SHINE would be more helpful and at minimum just simply let me have credit. I have been part of the "SHINE family" on and off since the beginning. I am just truly disappointed in this lack of resolve. I only can make assumptions about how the business runs from my own experience. Again I find it very disheartening, especially for a holistic zen-type establishment. On a positive note, they did point out how they ever so kindly waved to thirty dollar cancelation fee for me as they did not think that was fair since I was not able to attend one class. but not being able to use any days and keep the ****** is totally fair... Really, so you can see how that would be frustrating to a "SHINE family" member.
