I was sold a sick puppy and the store claimed the dog was a toy poodle when his breed is a sheep a doodle. Spent over 500 hundred dollars on the first week at the vet due to upper respiratory infection. The store told me to put in a claim for reimbursement. It has been over 3 months now and have not received a check and when i call the store they tell me someone will call me back, nothing has been solved. The store claimed the puppy would grow to be between 15-20lbs. My dog is now 4 months old and is already 12lbs and very lean. I would definitely not recommend select a puppy to anyone

I am astonished that this corrupt puppy hellhole can continue to operate. They source their puppies from puppy ***** and do not conduct genetic testing, yet they deny these obvious facts when questioned. They just sold a ***** **** ******* ******** for $7,000+, attributing the high price to the unique coloring. However, ***** is not a recognized standard in the breed, and this business deceives unsuspecting customers who trust them. Ridiculous money hungry thieves! For $7000+ you can go to an ethical breeder and get a health tested, pedigree show dog with a title! Buyers, beware and consider taking your business to a reputable breeder or rescue. #puppymill #scammers Also, do not confuse ACA with AKC! ACA means nothing. These people will flat out lie to your face.

This place should be shut down! Received a puppy as a gift from there within two days had to take her to the vet with a respiratory infection and before the two weeks where the puppy has to be examined on a wellness check tested positive for Giardia. Since then I have been back to the vet and puppy has had 2 treatments for the parasites and is still testing positive! These tests are not cheap they are $75 to check the ****, vet fee plus medicine! They should pay for all of this because they should sell puppy's that are healthy and treat them before they leave with their new family! They are disgusting and I'm going to blast them all over the internet until they pay me what they owe!

Hello, we have no customer by this name in our system, and there has been no documentation or inquiry received from this name in reference to a puppy. Please have the client provide the purchaser contract and all corresponding documentation so we can further assist. Thank you

Thats because the dog was given to me as a gift The contract is #****! The puppy is still testing positive for Giardia going to the vet today to get medicine for third treatment. Select a puppy requested a not fit for purchase from vet but my vet refuses to give one as thats not a reason for it being not fit for purchase! They try to use every tactic they can to not have to pay! You can find all the information including name under that contract number!

This Select A Puppy pet store has some unscrupulous practices. I got a puppy and financed $1,000 through America First. After 28 weeks of paying I checked my balance and $661. The interest will be 173% over a year??? Where do you go and get a rate that high? A car, a home, not even a credit card. PLEASE READ THE FINE PRINT on your contract! These guys are crooks!

Take it from me.PLEASE READ THE FINE PRINT.I blame myself for not reading the fine print. They quote me on one price but then when I took out the loan for *********** they gave me a different price so please, please beware of this. Select the pup company. I love the pup and would not ever give him back.Their gain and my lost.

BUYER BEWARE! First impression you will receive that the place is clean, staff is kind and knowledgeable. You will be presented a great story about your puppy, regarding where the dog came from and their breeder. I was told that they personally go to these places to ensure they are reputable and good condition. It was shared that our pet was from a family that had an organic farm in Missouri. Organic farm I assumed good condition, no need to question further. Upon researching further after purchasing our dog, we came to find that ******** tops the top of the puppy mill list, the farm where our pet had come from had - 119 adult breeding dogs and 62 puppies. I highly encourage all to do their research prior to committing to purchasing. Pricing is not fair, we were a victim of purchasing an EXTREMELY expensive pet whom was ill. Our dog was examined by our vet within 2 days of purchase and had an ear infection, giardia, tape worm and pneumonia. I would certainly question the ethics of the Vet examination and the relationship they have with this establishment. The documentation had shown that this dog was examined and fit for sale. Our pet was deemed unfit for sale and this pet store had to cover the medical bills per ** Pet Purchase Protection Law. Please save yourself the emotional and financial trauma and do not purchase from this establishment.

The worst experience with any business. They are thieves and only care about how much money they can get from you. They dont care about the animals and theyre extremely manipulative. I will be filing a lawsuit against this place for taking my money. Absolutely disgusting!

This place is amazing. I was very hesitant to get a puppy from a pet shop because of all the horror stories but the girl who helped ** made ** feel comfortable right away. Puppies come with very extensive health care and warranty. Two days after purchasing the puppy I became overwhelmed and almost brought the puppy back. They gave me several options and even offered a lower energy dog but the best thing they did was invited me in for training and helped me with a schedule. Just yesterday my dog turned 1! I couldnt imagine our lives without him. Thank you so much for helping me get through the puppy stage, calling every day to check in and even getting ** a free vet visit. Please dont go to any pet store, do your research and go here! Prices are fair too.

I wish I could give it a ZERO . I got my puppy this week 11/05/22, IT IS OVER EXPENSIVE than in any other place. For some reason they let ******** to do the talking..she provides all info etc however even after requesting several times she does not disclose the Price!! In the end when my kids are at comfort level with the puppy she brings all documents and discloses the Price!! They charged as $7150 for a Mix poodle, not only they sell EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE but VERY SICK puppies, my puppy had intestinal worms, vomiting diarrhea and respiratory infection Day 2 after the purchase. The Vet put him on Antibiotics. I got the Unfit to sell Certificate from my Vet. I hadn't read the reviews of this business, my bad..otherwise I wouldn't have made this decision. They took more than $7000 from us for a SICK PUPPY. Sometimes its is very difficult to make your children understand that the pet is over priced. Kids don't understand the worth of money, they are innocent and loving. These people play with human emotions and the puppies are not well kept. The paper work has the puppy de wormed several times in October and November however per the VET no treatment was given. How can they sell sick puppies?? I would kindly request BBB to please take action against this business and if there is any way BBB could assist us to get our money back, as the price of the poodle is not over $7000, average ranges from $1500-2000? Is there any way we can get back the over payment? Thank you in advance. AR
