I dropped my 1990 Chevy Corvette off on July 12th with the understanding that Dominick would remove the aftermarket alarm system, disable the ignition immobilizer, and create new door keys. Also, I had new front brake rotors, front brake pads, calipers and brake hoses installed the week prior by another service station, however the mechanic was unable to get the brake fluid flowing to one front brake pad. He was unsure how to fix. Dominick assured me that he would be able to diagnose the problem and get the brake fluid flowing to the pad again. I paid him $959.63 and $1140.67 in advance. I was told the week after that the aftermarket system was removed and new door keys were already made, he was just ordering new hoses for the brakes. Each week there was a different excuse as to why the car was not ready, he would keep pushing it until the following week. Finally, after 4 weeks of excuses, I went to the service station and told him that I wanted the car back that week. He had told me that he ordered washers on ebay for the passenger window and had the door hanging off because the window would not go up. I told him to put it back together the way he found it and I want the car back by the end of the week. He agreed to show me all of the work that he did and mysteriously refunded me $959.63 without me even asking. When I picked up the car, Dominick was not there, the aftermarket alarm system was not removed as promised, the brakes were still not working there were no new door keys and there were multiple new scratches and niks on the car that were not there before. In addition, I left the car with more that 1/4 tank of gas and it was completely empty with at least 30 extra miles on the car. I texted him about it and he refunded me the money for the brakes, however, I took my car to a body shop which determined there was $2964.23 in painting repairs. I would like to be compensated for the scratches that occurred in his care.
