      ?Complaint Against G Motors USA LLC Title Registration Issue Unresolved for 5+ MonthsI am filing this complaint regarding G Motors USA LLC in **********, **. I purchased two vehicles from them for my business. One vehicle was correctly registered to my business, but the second was mistakenly registered to me personally.We did not realize this mistake until we were stopped by the police. I immediately contacted G Motors, and they directed me to the bank. After speaking with the bank, I was told to go back to G Motors, as they were responsible for the registration. According to the bank, G Motors was authorized to purchase the vehicle and was required to request that the title be issued in the name of my business.This issue has now continued for over five months. During this time:Ive been repeatedly bounced between G Motors, the bank, and the ***.G Motors incorrectly informed me that I needed to go to the *** to sign something. When I went, the *** told me the title must come from the bankmeaning G Motors instruction was wrong.Every time I contact G Motors, I am transferred, disconnected, or told the person responsible is not available. Most calls are never returned.I was told the issue was due to a mistake by their title department, but that person has been unavailable for months.Ive been unable to legally operate vehicleI am requesting the following:1.Immediate resolution of the title issue so the vehicle can be registered properly to my business.2.A refund or compensation for the five months I have been unable to use the vehicle due to their error.3.An explanation from G Motors management regarding the unacceptable handling of this matter, and how such poor customer service will be addressed.This situation has been frustrating, unprofessional, and completely avoidable.       Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
      Mr. *** ***** purchased two vehicles from G Motors for use in connection with his business. Both vehicles were successfully delivered with all appropriate documentation, and one of them was correctly registered under the name Emerald ********* The second vehicle, however, was registered under Mr. ****** personal name, based on the information provided at the time of sale and signed paperwork.
      It is important to note the following:
      All motor vehicle registration paperwork is completed based on the information submitted by the buyer at the time of sale.
      Once the registration and title have been processed and assigned, G Motors cannot alter or reassign the name on the title, as it becomes a legal DMV record.
      To register the vehicle under a business or change it to a commercial title, Mr. ***** must visit the *************************** (MVC) directly and initiate the correction himself.
      While we understand the inconvenience this may have caused, we want to clarify that:
      The original registration was processed correctly per the submitted documents and legal ownership application at the time of sale.
      This is not a dealer error, but rather a situation where the buyer must now complete a re-registration request with MVC.
      Resolution Offered:
      G Motors remains available to provide any supporting paperwork Mr. ***** may need to facilitate the correction through MVC. However, the dealership cannot request or process a name change or business registration on his behalf, as that must be initiated by the registered owner or lienholder.
      We regret any confusion that may have occurred in communications during the process. We will also ensure our staff is retrained to better explain registration limitations post-sale.
      We respectfully request case closure, as the registration was properly completed at the time of purchase and cannot be retroactively changed by the dealership.

      I purchased a vehicle on 4/3/2025. At the dealer I was told the check engine was on due to it “needing a retune”. Besides driving the car home I have NOT driven the car because I wanted peace of mind by getting it inspected by a Subaru specialist. Within a matter of 15 minutes they found detrimental issues. There is no barometric sensor so this car will NOT pass inspection/emissions, the “uppipe” from the headers is completely severed so the exhaust gas is literally spewing out underneath the engine and also causing the turbo to not work, which also is dangerous because the fuel line has a generic fitting on the end that could be a potential fire hazard. The oil pan is dented which could be an issue for the engine, rear struts are leaking. I’ve spent $4500 out of pocket and leased the rest for a total of $23,000 for a car that WILL NOT pass inspection/emissions and is inoperable until atleast until the Uppipe is fixed. I called to figure out what I could do with the warranty on 4/16 and I was basically brushed off because the car is modified(which is exactly how they sold it to me).

      * 1/08/2025 * $38,301.38 * Yes. * Refusal to honor refund for ******************************* Contract was issued during signing. Displayed in the dealership day of sale.Its unreasonable to have the option to cancel but I have to go through the dealership that wont answer the phone when I call. I have evidence of the service contract that must be honored.

      I was interested in buying a car, so I went to G Motors of Old Bridge I went to test drive the car, I liked it and told them to fix the stuff with the car I gave them a 500 down payment, I did not sign anything saying that I bought the car, but i left and came back 2 days later to test drive the car they asked me to put the remaining downpayment down , so i did, i still did not sign anything stating that i have the car/want the car, the next day i came and got cold feet and did not want the car anymore, so i told them im backing out of the deal and to give me back my down payment but they are stating that i need to pay a restocking fee, but i never signed anything saying that i want the car and now they are holding 269 dollars and saying that I cant get that back

      on 7/18/1924 my ******* went to g motors on old bridge NJ, we purchase a car for ********. when discussing the payment and paperwork we asked if we were getting plates for the ********** said yes. we asked over 5 times n every time they said yes to the plates. the salesman's name is ************** even he asked n said yes we were getting the plates.two weeks prior to the temporary plates expiring, my son went to the dmv and asked for info. They told him that the dealership has not sent no paperwork or anything relating to the purchase of the car. my son proceeded to call the dealership. (Sorry we forgot her name, it might be ******* but not sure.) He spoke to a female who takes care of the *************** she got upset because my son went to the dmv n told him he shouldn't had done that. She was upset. she told my son he was going to receive the ************** by 8/14/2014.On 8/14/1024 my son proceeded to call the dealership trying to find out what was going on with the plates. again, the lady who handles title paperwork kept him waiting over half n hour on hold until the line went dead. he called over two hours n no one answered. so we discuss n i told him to go to the dealership n find out. Apparently, they told him they will fix the situation we will get *************** in a week. week came n we only received the title but no plates. Agin my son called n they said since we dint pay taxes we get no plates. just the title. they never mentioned that, all we got is yes ur getting ur plates.On 8/27/1924 we went to the dmv trying to register the car n get plates for it, we ended up paying ******* on taxes so we can registered it n get the plates. Dmv mentioned that on the paperwork it look like a private seller sold us the car n not the dealership itself. we never got told that information.its not fair that i had to pay taxes on the car when they promised that i was getting plates which they didn't fill their part of the bargain. very unprofessional.

      At the end of July I purchased a car from G Motors, ********* ** location. At the time I asked for my plates back. I was told they couldnt get them off but would have them off within a week and I could pick them up. Since that time I have asked a total of 5 times for the return of my plates. ** has given me excuses and stalling tactics. If i dont return them my current registration will get suspended, thru no fault of my own. I want my tags back. *** asked and Ive begged, my next step will be to report them as stolen, since G Motors refuses to return my property to me.

      I have a 2014 ***** equinox I purchased ( finance ) march 7th 2023 I paid this dealership $2,500 as a down payment for the car .. I have issues from them ever since I brought the car .. . Recently I had an issue with the car resulting into needing a new engine . I called them telling them what the issue was . They told me theres was nothing they can do or fix for me and directed me to the warranty company and saying it was on me

      We purchased a 2013 **** Escape for $7500.00. The engiylight came on after we paid for the vehicle. ****** said he would have it fixed, just bring the car back. We took the car back. They had it for a week. We went back to get the car. The engine light back on. We took the car to a me who said the turbo need to be replaced. They will not repair the turbo and we never received our title to the car as of today, a month later.

      I am rejecting this response because:we tried to purchase a warranty but the bank would not release additional funds on the same day. When the engine light was identified. ****** said he would make sure that the car is fixed. You had the car for days and it is still not fixed. The car will not run. It keeps shutting off. We want it fixed or a full refund. If not I will hire an attorney or file a small claims court. I was told that the turbo will cost *******. We cannot put another **** in this car.

      On October 10th 2022, I purchased a *** X5 from G Motors USA in ****** **. The sticker price on the vehicle was $13,000. The sales person mentioned the car was in good condition cosidering it was a used car. Several days later, I took the vehicle to a local *** dealer to get the vehicle checked. As a result, the vehicle needs $13,000 worth of repairs. I then called ***, salesperson at the dealership and he said the the vehicle was never checked. How can a dealership advertise a vehicle for $13,000 and its not checked prior to the sale? I put $7,000 as a downpayment and financed the remaining. I called the bank who I financed with and notified them. They directed me to the fraud ***** I then emailed the fraud **** and attached the video that was provided to me from *** at the time they checked it. At this point, I would like to receive a refund of the monies paid and they can keep their car. I believe they are scammers because they have several negative reviews on their website. Please advise!
