    On April 6, 2023 at approximately 3:38p EST I dropped off an unpackaged item at *** Store #**** and utilized the packaging services offered to send a valuable item to a recipient. I paid for the packaging services in cash, and the item was shipped as planned. However, upon arrival, the item was found to be damaged.I just called store #**** in an effort to retrieve a copy of the receipt for the packaging services. The manager explained that he couldn't see a transaction in his system and that it's very possible he didn't enter an "official" transaction into the system when taking my cash for the packaging services. This is unacceptable. I paid for packaging services, and it is the responsibility of *** to provide a receipt for those services. It is also the responsibility of *** to acknowledge that they packaged the item. Without the receipt, I am unable to prove that *** provided the packaging services, and *** is effectively denying my rightful claim for damages.The expensive item that was shipped is a key component of my computer and is affecting my ability to conduct my own companies business.
