This place deserves 0 stars. I have boarded **** at Allen's Kennel since he was a puppy. Last year when we boarded him he seemed sick when we picked him up and they claim he hurt his paw. I took him to the vet and he needed an antibiotic. They said several dogs were in with same symptoms that were boarded there. My vet asked if I would mind reporting to them that another dog came in sick and of course I said yes. I was not going to bring him back the following year but had trouble finding someone or a place that was available. I decided maybe it was a one time thing and boy do I regret it. When I dropped him off the woman in the office was very rude and never even acknowledged me. A young kid checked him in. I ask the angry looking lady to make sure he does not fall asleep in the sun because I know he likes to do that but I worry about the heat. She abruptly said we have his notes from the past. I gave my phone number and they abruptly lassoed him and pulled him in the back. We rushed home from vacation to make it by their 5:00 pickup cutoff time and thank god I did. There was a large women standing their when I walked in . She told me **** got aggressive toward her and ******* (nasty angry woman at desk.) ******* got up and abruptly walked out without saying a word. I said what do you mean aggressive. She said he tried to bite us. This is a dog that has never showed aggression toward any human and craves human affection. . ******* alleged he went after her boot. They said he made no marks on anyone. Of course there are no cameras to prove this. Just the word of rude staff. They said no went near him for the rest of the week except to throw his food into him. They just neglected him. He loves people. The incident happened on day one and no one called me. They won't let anyone back to see the kennels. My dog was limping and favoring his hind leg when we picked him up. It's clear my dog was severely neglected. Horrible place.
