  Date of visit 5/31/2024-Be very careful when contacting and arriving for service. Make it very clear what you service you are asking for. Ask for a breakdown of the total chargebefore you receive service or your likely receive sticker shock. A friend and I went in and both wanted the exact same thing. A deep chemical peel was the goal of our visit. It was never explained to us, either by phone or upon arrival that a deep chemical peel is not allowed ?? on your first visit. The way it was explained you get the introductory price for a facial and a peel was an extension of the facial. Basically, no peel unless you get a the facial first. There are no deep chemical peels allowed at first visit. You must return once or maybe twice depending on your skin to receive a deep chemical peel. This however was not, by any means made clear during the initial phone call or upon check in at the establishment. NEVER. (And they have your credit card and will charge it if you cancel within 24 hrs). I was not told about the no deep chemical peel policy until I was already prepped for service. In the end, my friend and I were charged two different rates even though we asked for the exact same service. This was a very distressing and extremely disappointing event. Hand and Spa should have made it clear the corporate policy of no deep chemical peels on first visit when making initial contact. If its your first visit, it would behoove you to get a written quote or the precise service you will receive before service begins In my opinion its nothing less than a scam to have you keep returning. Thumbs down ?? It could have been such an uplifting experience as the service itself was enjoyable. The front staff however.???? I will leave it at that.
